Description
Il Villino is a brand new B&B located in a beautiful villa surrounded by a pleasant pine forest and 3-4 minutes by car from the heart of the city and the Sassi.

The structure includes 3 finely furnished rooms, with private bathroom and independent air conditioning. Each room is equipped with TV, independent heating and hot water.

From each room you can access the outdoor living room set up with tables and gazebos, from which you can enjoy the wonderful panorama offered by the Lucanian Apennine mountains and the valley that houses the San Giuliano Oasis.

The property has a large private and fenced parking lot.

All this guarantees a comfortable stay surrounded by nature, in the name of privacy and relaxation.

Given its location near the entrance to the center of Matera, the B&B allows easy travel to visit the Sassi and is an ideal area for families and for lovers of cycling.

One must know that there is no breakfast - even though it is advertised on their own website and the bed-and-breakfast website starts with the review 'extensive breakfast'. We have informed the landlords and hope that this misleading information will be corrected truthfully on the internet quickly. The landlords are really kind and very warm. We received good information about the sights. However, we believe they could transform a more pleasant accommodation from a very neglected outdoor area with some effort. For example, we found it annoying to have to ask the landlord by phone to open the electric gate every time before entering the property. For a short stopover to visit the nearby Matera, the stay was OK.

Siamo rimasti a Matera purtroppo per solo la bellezza di una notte, abbiamo alloggiato in questo B&B e sia io che il mio ragazzo siamo rimasti molto felici. Biagio ci ha accolto con attenzione e premura, ci ha raccontato tanti aneddoti sulla città e per noi è stato un vero piacere conoscerlo. Si è dimostrato essere una bella persona. La stanza era perfetta: pulita, completa e ben arredata. La vicinanza al centro è degna di nota. Anche il parcheggio fuori casa ovviamente si è rivelato comodo. Insomma tutto alla grande! Dovessi tornare a Matera credo proprio che saprei già dove andare ad alloggiare! Continuate così!:).

La casa è bella e moderna situata a poco distanza dal centro con un bel panorama. La camera mi è piaciuta, molto accogliente, con climatizzazione a pavimento ! e il proprietario è stato gentile e disponibile. Struttura che consiglio vivamente.

Siamo appena tornati da un weekend reso indimenticabile grazie alla suggestiva bellezza di Matera e dei suoi sassi, alla calorosa accoglienza dei suoi abitanti e dei signori Biagio e Cristina, proprietari de Il villino dove abbiamo soggiornato due notti. Il villino è un luogo sobrio, pulito e a pochi minuti dal centro. I signori Biagio e Cristina ci hanno accolti con garbo e gentilezza dandoci informazioni su cosa vedere o dove mangiare. Quanto amore per la loro terra! Ci tornerei volentieri. T.

Ottima struttura, impiego di tecnologie nel rispetto dell'ambiente, proprietario socievole e guida aggiuntiva a quella utilizzata per la visita di Matera. Ottima ubicazione, in tranquilla campagna e a due passi dalla città e dalla rete stradale per raggiungere con facilità le stupende località limitrofe.

Posizionato a 1 Km. circa dal centro in una posizione tranquilla e silenziosa, con corte e posto auto assicurato. I proprietari sono cordiali ed affidabili e la signora tra l'abbondante colazione inserisce una pizza eccezionale. Pulizia e cortesia ma i fumatori solo fuori! (sigh!). Consigliato.
