Breakfast
Hey from Alessandra
I have been working in tourism for 22 years and still love this job because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
My home is cosy and perfectly located.
We are strategically located on the main street of Sasso Caveoso and, at the same time, we are both 50 metres from the sotric centre and 100 metres from the nearest car parks - in short, everything here is really close at hand. We are surrounded by the city's most interesting attractions, monuments with beautiful art exhibitions and ancient places rich in history, in short, there is something for everyone!
In addition, after your booking, I will be happy to send you a free mini digital guide that I have personally written with all my best tips on Matera.
What are you waiting for?
Come and visit us!:).
Conditions
Area Sasso Caveoso
The Sassi of Matera exemplify how humans have ingeniously adapted to their environment, creating a distinctive urban system. They comprise two main districts, the Sasso Caveoso and the Sasso Barisano, both notable for their intricate network of narrow streets, cave-houses, and water cisterns. Historically, the Sassi were inhabited until 1950, when the population was relocated to newer, more modern neighborhoods.
Today, the Sassi have been revitalized and transformed into tourist attractions, featuring restaurants, hotels, and cave-houses that have become popular places to visit.
Matera is celebrated for its millennia-old history, its unique urban landscape, and its ability to blend the past with the present, making it a highly appealing tourist destination.

Saluti
