The Bed & Breakfast Il Giglio Casa Albergo is located in a building dating back to the early 1800s, in the historic center of Rotondella, recently awarded as the third most beautiful village in Italy.
Purchased in a state of abandonment, the building has been carefully renovated to create two rooms with en-suite bathrooms for a total of 5 beds for guests. The rooms maintain the charm of the past, with original wooden skirting boards, exposed stone walls, and wooden floors. Everything has been modernized, creating a perfect blend of the ancient and the latest trends and needs, such as free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Il Giglio Casa Albergo is located in an enviable position between the sea and the mountains. Just a 15-minute drive from the Ionian beaches and an hour from the Pollino National Park, it is an ideal destination both in summer and winter.
The tranquility of the place makes it particularly suitable for those who want to enjoy a stay in absolute relaxation in the comfort of our rooms, immersed in an almost surreal silence and enjoying the natural freshness that the village offers at an altitude of almost 600 meters, from where you can admire the entire Gulf of Taranto.
During the summer, the Municipality activates a shuttle service to the beach at affordable prices.
The owner of the property, Rocco, is an engineer with a passion for tourism who strongly believes in a healthy and quality life. His passions are music, the sea, and good wine.

The structure is very clean and well made. The owner, Rocco, is very kind and helpful. The breakfast at the affiliated bar is of excellent quality, the croissants and creams are homemade. The location of the structure is a bit peculiar, as it is reachable only on foot facing a nice climb.

Very pleasant, brand new and clean structure. Breakfast is simple, at Bar Tropical, with freshly baked croissants. I would say everything is fantastic. The owner is a very professional person. Everything is excellent.

Rotondella is delightful. Very pleasant days were spent discovering lesser-known yet charming places. The room was perfect. The care and attention of the manager towards us was great. We will return.

Nice structure although the access is a bit difficult. However, it is welcoming and interesting. The only thing is that more attention needs to be paid to the room, for example, the television and the bathroom could be better maintained, even though they are clean. Overall, a good accommodation structure.

Very pleasant apartment with a very clean bedroom and private bathroom. The people who run this B&B were very friendly. Rotondella is a magnificent town that I highly recommend for a short stay and the apartment is located in the center.
