Description

Located in the oldest part of the city, in the heart of the Sassi, precisely on the "CIVITA", which is the first city.

It is easily identifiable as it is located behind the Matera Cathedral and thus allows for quick access to the most important historical, cultural and artistic places of the city.

The San Potito B&B has two rooms, furnished with great care, and each room has a private bathroom.

A large entrance, a breakfast room complete with a kitchen equipped with a kitchenette.

A terrace full of flowers will allow you to admire the beautiful panorama and maybe enjoy a good breakfast.

Mrs. Laura is very kind and helpful, a real pleasure to have stayed at the B&B Sanpotito. The B&B is just a few steps away from the city center, clean, welcoming, and very nice. I stayed only one day and unfortunately that morning I couldn't have breakfast because I had to leave very early for work; I rated the breakfast as sufficient based on what I found available in the kitchen. One thing I would suggest is to be more careful in refilling the fridge with water, as it was completely empty that night, and it was a problem, given the heat, for me and my partner who had to go to a bar at 5 in the morning. Apart from this small inconvenience, we will gladly return.

Perfect accommodation to visit Matera in tranquility. Obviously, being located in the historical center among the 'sassi', behind the Duomo, it is not possible to park the car very close. However, it is possible to park in free spaces with unlimited parking (as we did) and reach the structure in about 10/15 minutes on foot. Spacious room overlooking a lovely internal courtyard where breakfast is served. Excellent value for money and kind and welcoming hosts. Guests have access to a small room with a kitchen (very clean and tidy), coffee machine and pods, some snacks, all included in the room rate.

The lady is truly kind, helpful, and respectful. The B&B Sanpotito is a real apartment, with the kitchen, the bathroom, and a bedroom. There is also a shared courtyard. Everything is very clean. The only point, on which one can easily overlook, is the TV in the kitchen; personally, I would have preferred it in the bedroom. It is located in the historic center, so it is not possible to reach it by car, but the streets where you can park are 5 minutes away from the B&B Sanpotito. I highly recommend it.

Quiet B&B in an excellent location, equipped with a well-equipped kitchen and a private internal courtyard, tastefully furnished and very clean. Mrs. Laura, in addition to being an excellent hostess, prepares excellent breakfasts enjoyed by adults and children.
