Description
The Bed & Breakfast Villa Silmona is a country house in the heart of Salento immersed in nature where you can taste the products grown on the premises, from genuine olive oil that comes from the olive groves of the estate.

During the months of May and June, it is impossible to restistere the scent of cherries and strawberries, while in late summer, you will be assaulted by the temptation of picking at the grapes nestled between the rows of vines.

The rustic-style, but elegantly furnished, has rooms equipped with heating, air conditioning, fridge, TV and private bathroom. In the large dining room is served breakfast based on local recipes prepared Doldi artigianalmenteogni day.

Silmona Villa in the summer, it offers lots of outdoor space for the barbecue, use of the kitchen without added expenses.

It is also a structure that can be rented all year pr organizing receptions, such as baptisms, communions and birthdays.

Villa Silmona offers a service of aesthetics for the health and well-being of body and mind.

At the request of guests offers bicycles for local walks and those who love the great jogging trails in the country lanes also organized into groups.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail synonymous with the hospitality of Salento.

The landlady "Ramona" welcomes guests well, making them feel at home! The property is nice and clean, lacks a swimming pool to spend some afternoons without having to go back down to the sea. Good value for money.

Nicola Cospito 27 agosto alle ore 11: 34. Immersa nel cuore del Salento, ad Aradeo, nella campagna ricca di ulivi e alberi da frutta, Villa Silmona, ci è apparsa da subito il luogo adatto da dove fare partire le nostre escursioni verso le località più rinomate, Santa Caterina, Porto Selvaggio, Sant’Isidoro, celebri per il mare pulito e cristallino e per raggiungere paesi e cittadine di grande storia e bellezza come Galatina, Cutrofiano, Maglie e Gallipoli. Ottima la sistemazione, con la nostra stanza dotata di aria condizionata, frigo e ogni altro comfort e un salottino all’aperto, adiacente, sotto una robusta tettoia, dove dedicarsi alla conversazione, alla lettura e, per chi lo volesse, al computer. Oltre alla colazione preparata con cura da Ramona, la padrona di casa, con dolci e torte pugliesi, abbiamo apprezzato la possibilità di utilizzare la cucina adiacente e i tavoli sotto il porticato dove ci siamo rifocillati al ritorno dal mare. Piacevole la condivisione (volontaria) con Silvio, marito di Ramona e comproprietario della struttura, di alcuni momenti di vita contadina come la ventilazione dei ciceri e la lavorazione dei grappoli di pomodori che, insieme alle grandi foglie di fico d’India, adornano alcuni angoli del ridente edificio. Ideale il soggiorno anche per le famiglie con bambini per la presenza di un allegro pollaio – io stesso mi sono divertito a dare da mangiare alle galline – e di alcuni simpatici animali domestici. Dando un giudizio di valore sul rapporto qualità/prezzo, questo è senz’altro più che positivo. La cordialità dei padroni di casa è tale che, andando via, sai già che se potrai, tornerai ancora a Villa Silmona anche perché il Salento non si finisce mai di scoprire.

Posto stupendo, immerso nella natura, padroni di casa eccezionali, colazione indimenticabile con dolci fatti da Ramona, e frutta fresca locale. Ci ha colpito molto la cura dei particolari e la pulizia in tutta la struttura. Ramona e Silvio due persone stupende. Consigliatissimo.

Siamo stati accolti dal calore di Ramona e Silvio, sempre gentili e disponibili, pronti ad aiutarti anche per aspetti non legati all'accoglienza. Tengono la struttura con estrema cura e pulizia; la camera è confortevole ma leggermente spartana. La posizione richiede di spostarsi con l'auto per qualsiasi cosa. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Per la colazione: "Ramona, con tutte le cose buone che prepari e vendi: qualche assaggino a colazione al posto dei prodotti confezionati: -) detto con simpatia".

Ramona e Silvio sono degli ottimi padroni di casa. La camera è accogliente e ben arredata ed anche gli spazi esterni sono gestiti con estrema cura. Notevole la veranda realizzata sulla terrazza superiore: fresca e ventilata anche in pieno Agosto, la si può utilizzare per rilassarsi durante il giorno o cenare al tramonto. Molto comoda la cucina comune piccola ma ben attrezzata. La posizione è ideale per godere delle spiagge joniche e scoprire i paesi dell'interno.

È quasi passato un mese da quando abbiamo lasciato il meraviglioso Salento e non passa giorno senza che ci ricordiamo, con tanta gioia, del nostro soggiorno a Villa Silmona. Bella struttura, molto ben attrezzata, situata in un paesaggio incantevole nelle campagne salentina fra ulivi, frutteti e fragole. In un punto strategico per visitare tutto il Salento. Ramona e Silvio sono padroni di casa perfetti. Ci hanno accolto con tanta cordialità, gentilezza, pazienza, umanità, e simpatia. Ogni angolo, ogni gesto e parola ci ha dato la forte sensazione che tutto è fatto con il cuore. Come si fa a non tornare a Villa Silmona e in Salento!

Bella struttura molto ben attrezzata: le camere sono ampie, fresche d'estate e calde d'inverno, dotate di frigorifero; sono disponibili anche un comodissimo angolo cottura comune, tavoli all'aperto e una lavatrice. L'accoglienza da parte dei gestori è straordinaria e le torte fatte in casa servite a colazione indimenticabili!

Struttura molto accogliente, alcune stanze hanno il bagno forse un po' piccolo, ma nel contesto soddisfacente. La gestione è fatta da Ramona e Silvio, che sono veramente eccezionali. Ho parenti nel Salento ed in particolare ad Aradeo, ma sono andato ed andrò sempre a Villa Silmona perché sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dalla struttura, dalla sua ubicazione (a pochi minuti dal paese) e dall'accoglienza dei proprietari.
