Villa Loredana

Lovely Mediterranean-style villa, surrounded by a garden with fruit trees, 100 meters from the Ionian Sea, near a rocky bay with crystal-clear water, in a peaceful green area, but only 2.5 km from the beaches of Gallipoli (Il Pizzo).

As the villa on Via dello Zodiaco is not available, the described and illustrated references refer to a villa located in Torre Suda, 2 km from Via dello Zodiaco, much closer to the sea (100 meters) and situated in an area with villas equipped with a supermarket, tobacco shop, newsstand, church, square, playground, pizzeria, restaurant, beachfront piano bar, and bike path, all within 150 meters. Torre Suda has been recognized among the 45 seaside resorts awarded this year with the "Vele di Legambiente" and "Touring Club Italiano". The Alto Salento Jonico district includes the municipalities of Nardò, Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo, and Racale. There is a provincial bus stop (Lecce-Gallipoli-Leuca) 300 meters away, as well as a tennis club, ATM, and an equipped park for outdoor performances.

The villa consists of three independent units. One unit has a double bedroom, dining room with a double sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The other unit has three bedrooms with 2, 3, and 4 beds respectively, two indoor fireplaces, a dining room, several terraces, and a porch. There is also an outdoor shower and an indoor parking space. Lastly, in the same complex, there is a separate double room with a bathroom and independent entrance.

We do not meet the requirements for vacation vouchers. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

For nature lovers, within a radius of 10 km, there are different marine habitats available: high cliffs (2-3 meters), white sandy beaches with swim-accessible islets (Riva di Ugento), wild beach (Lido Pizzo) accessible only by dirt road, or equipped beach resorts with happy hour.

In the garden, there are some caper plants, a crop that is common in the area and grows between the rocky terrain before the house was built. Between June and August, the plants bloom, producing buds that are harvested for the production of pickled capers. Guests are free to pick them, some plants are ground-level, while others are planted in the stone wall and can be harvested without bending down.

Accessible from the edge of the garden, near the stone wall, there are prickly pear plants with succulent flesh ranging in color from green to yellow, orange, and red. Using tongs for spaghetti or salad (to avoid getting pricked), guests can freely pick them.
