The TRULLI CONVERTINI are located in the heart of Apulia, atop a hill with a dominating view over the surrounding countryside dotted with clusters of trulli and olive trees.

Weather permitting on the orizon you can see the Adriatic Sea, only 20 minutes drive to the east.

This trullo is a 500 years old house, completely renewed, keeping the original architecture: stone dwellings with a square plan and cone-shaped roofs. Each cone represents one room, so it has an independent entrance, a large living room, two double bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom. It is furnished in a simple way with 2 to 4 beds, bathroom towels and bed linen, one single divan bed, a cradle, heating, fridge, fully equipped kitchen, oven, washing machine, hairdryer, TV and CD/DVD player.

The parking space and the garden are near the trullo and supermarket, post office, bar and chemist’s are 1 km far away.

Trees in bloom and multicoloured meadows full of poppies and daisies in spring, sun, sea and cool nights by the light of the moon in summer, a glass of good wine in autumn, the warmth of a fireplace in winter. If you are looking for a taste of rural Italy, unspoiled by tourists, TRULLI CONVERTINI offer you beautiful views and a peaceful place where you may enjoy a restful and unforgettable stay.

The structure is within 20 minutes drive of the Adriatic Sea from the rocky coast of Savelletri and Capitolo, interrupted here and there by small coves of fine sand and crystal-clear water, down to the endless beach of Torre Canne.
It can be also the ideal location for many one-day excursions to Locorotondo and its enchanting old town; Alberobello, the capital of the trulli; Martina Franca, typical example of baroque art; Cisternino with its picturesque alleys; Ostuni, the white city; the impressive cliffs of Polignano and many other striking places.

I stayed for just one night. The owner, Mrs. Maria, is very kind and welcoming. The house is spotless. The sheets even smelled of freshly washed laundry. If I were to return to the area, I would gladly stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Locus Festival and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for easily reaching everything by car (Locorotondo,Alberobello,Polignano). The management is impeccable. Maria, the hostess, was kind, welcoming and helpful. 10/10! We can't wait to come back ❤️.

We wanted to visit Puglia, to know its most authentic corners from a landscape and cultural perspective and to be in contact with the small authentic local communities. Well, we found this in this historic trullo, complete with all the necessary comforts, in a relaxing and genuine atmosphere, just like its owner Maria. Welcoming us, she briefly told us the story of that trullo, the sacrifices of her parents and that community. This is the authenticity we were looking for. From Trulli Convertini, where you can observe a splendid panorama of the surrounding valleys, you can reach Locorotondo in a few minutes by walking along the paths in the nature with many beautiful dry stone walls. Everything deserves the highest rating and, of course, if we find ourselves in those places again, we will return to stay.

Mrs. Maria, friendly and helpful, welcomed us excellently. Trullo located in a strategic position just a few minutes from the safari zoo, from Alberobello, from Polignano a Mare. In short, we are really happy with our choice. Our trullo is very welcoming and comfortable, equipped with everything necessary that not everyone provides. Five or more well-deserved stars.

The stay in this trullo was wonderful. Located in a very suggestive place, among the stunning Apulian countryside, it is perfect for relaxing and being in tranquility. Moreover, it is quite close to the center of Locorotondo, Fasano and Alberobello. The manager immediately proved to be kind and very helpful. What can I say? I recommend it.

Beautiful property 15 minutes from Alberobello and Locorotondo but still located in a quiet area away from the chaos. Trulli Convertini is spacious, clean and well maintained, we were sorry to have stayed only one night, we hope to be able to return soon! Maria is also a kind and helpful person.

Just returned! Two days and one night (unfortunately) spent in the trullo of Mrs. Maria. Beautiful, in the countryside but very close to the center where you can enjoy all the services. Very clean and equipped with all the comforts, including the backyard garden which is a real gem and oasis of peace. Unique welcome with Mrs. Maria who is truly kind, friendly, and polite. Sorry to have only been able to stay for one night, but we will be back and especially for families it is highly recommended. Exceptional value for money.

The trullo is located in a strategic position to visit several places in the Itria Valley. It is very comfortable, functional, quiet, cool as well as beautiful both internally and externally. Maria is a very kind and helpful person, sleeping in a trullo is an authentic experience (the one where I stayed was raised by the mother). The accommodation is clean and equipped with everything. The surrounding countryside is full of olive trees and dry stone walls. The place is immersed in tranquility, there is also a small private garden with a view of the olive trees. Ideal to explore by Vespa, close to the most interesting places (10 minutes from Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca, and Cisternino), about 25 minutes from Torre Canne. Convenient for the Viva Festival in Grofoleo. The price of Trulli Convertini is absolutely competitive compared to any b&b in the village. Apulia in August without traffic and confusion is a wonder.

Staying in a trullo, in an isolated area, surrounded by other trulli and the countryside of the Itria Valley, was pleasant for our group of 3 people. A unique and fascinating experience. Maria welcomed us with extreme kindness and discretion, providing information on places of interest in the surroundings, and tips on where to eat and what to see. Such a fresh, clean, comfortable, and lovely trullo with everything you need: from laundry machine to hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Despite the hot summer day, the trullo stayed nice and cool, we did not even turn on the ac. We loved our meals in the backyard, the quiet location, and all sounds of nature. The hostess Maria is amazing: she is from here, loves her land, is highly educated and cosmopolitan—speaks many languages, and lived in Japan. She helped us in finding reasonable and delicious restaurants, a bike rental, and must-see destinations. Make sure to buy delicacies in her family’s store—they have literally everything. Maria, mahalo nui loa, grazie di cuore, sei una meraviglia.

I have been on holiday in Torre Vado and, in order not to travel too many hours in a single day, I stayed overnight at Trulli Convertini. What can I say, upon return I stayed overnight again in this structure and I intend to return because the trulli, the location, and the owner are fabulous.

True family Trulli (birthplace of the owner's mother!) perfectly restored with 2 bedrooms, one for 4 people, and a kitchen. Very quiet environment among olive trees and fig trees. A very friendly host who is willing to pick you up if you can't find your Trulli. Note, no breakfast provided (car needed for grocery shopping) or wifi.

Fantastic and super helpful owner. As soon as I arrived, I realized I had forgotten the hairdryer and the lady, without any problems, immediately brought me one. The next day unfortunately I had a problem with the car and she immediately solved the problem for me. Kind and fantastic person. Very nice Trullo even if a bit off the beaten path but for children who love the countryside, we had a great time. Recommended.

I stayed for 3 nights with my family. The place is isolated, but it's fine if you travel by car, as you can reach the center of Locorotondo in 10 minutes and within a maximum of 20 minutes you can get to the zoo, Alberobello, and the Castellana caves. Polignano a Mare, Ostuni. We even made a trip to San Giovanni Rotondo in 2 and a half hours. Mrs. Maria is very helpful. As for cleanliness, everything was fine except for a few hairs found in the bathroom fixtures, but the lady provides the necessary items for sanitizing, and everything is solved in 5 minutes! Wonderful trullo, located in the countryside 10 minutes from Alberobello. The owner is very kind and ready to give all the indications on where to go and what to do. Too bad we only stayed one night.

The trullo we stayed in was really cute and comfortable. It is immersed in nature with a beautiful view and just a few kilometers from Alberobello. The owner, Mrs. Maria, was very kind, friendly, and helpful for any issues. Recommended for anyone who wants to visit Alberobello during the day and for those who want to experience the thrill of sleeping in a trullo for a night.

The location is beautiful, the Itria Valley is a spectacle. The trullo is a diamond literally set in a work of art chiseled in gold. Maria is very accurate and helpful, she doesn't overlook anything and also accepts advice. We had a great time, despite the many narrow streets that intersect in the area, we found it easy to navigate them without ever getting lost, and if we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.

We had a great time. We were three families with children. The trulli were welcoming and we lacked nothing. The children had fun playing outside among the greenery and picking figs and firewood for the barbecue. Mrs. Maria is a young lady attentive to all the needs of the guests. We were really well. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children who stayed for three nights in this wonderful structure located in the center of the main tourist destinations in the area, immersed in the lush countryside of the Valle d'Itria. It is a trullo from the 1600s finely and recently restored. Spacious enough for a tourist stay of 4 people, it is equipped with the main comforts and services such as a beautiful and new kitchen, a spacious bathroom, with a washing machine and a parking space next to the trullo. The spectacularity of the double bedroom should be noted: while lying down, one admires the stone conical vault of the trullo. The internal lighting is well cared for and can be cold, warm, or mixed light. Every window is equipped with a mosquito net to prevent the entry of unwanted guests, a situation that is quite frequent in the countryside (where I also lived for 15 years).
