The B&B “Tra le Mura” is an independent and recently renovated period house. Located in the wonderful historic center of Polignano a Mare close to the suggestive balconies suspended over the Adriatic Sea. The Terrace, a common area overlooking the sea, will enchant you.
It has five rooms with double basic accommodation, one of which is double for single use and two for multiple use.

Matheo was very accommodating to all of our needs. He was courteous in offering cooking experiences and suggesting places to visit. He was easy to converse with about the area. The staff were pleasant and maintained the cleanliness and attractiveness of the B&B. The breakfast provided was nice. \n\nTra le Mura is centrally located in Posignano la Mura, making it possible for us to walk to various places, including the lot where our car was parked. We would definitely revisit!

We took the quadruple room, very nice and characteristic, perhaps the only flaw is the shower, a little uncomfortable if we really want to find a flaw. Everything else great both as a location and as the owner's welcome who gave us excellent logistical advice. The breakfast then excellent and abundant. Highly recommended.

Tra le Mura is an ideal small B&B. Very well located, in the heart of Polignano, the room was very clean and welcoming (many small attentions for the traveler). Mateo, the manager, is perfect, available, helpful, and welcoming. Perfect.

Polignano è un posto meraviglioso, la struttura è collocata nel cuore del centro storico quindi indubbiamente spettacolare.
Ma due note negative ci sono.
La grandissima e speciale colazione che il proprietario ha così tanto ostentato erano due cornetti un cappuccino e due caffè (80euro al giorno colazione inclusa) ho le foto che testimoniano il tutto. PESSIMO!
Secondo punto dolente è il proprietario stesso! Forse non ama particolarmente i romani e quindi giustamente se ne è fregato altamente della
Nostra presenza nella camera difronte, attaccata alla sua reception (una distanza di 50cm dalla hole).
Ogni mattina alle 8 ti conveniva uscire se no ti svegliava lui con tutte le sue chiamate e le sue chiacchiere mattutine. Purtroppo noi lavoriamo tutto l’anno e abbiamo a disposizione solamente una settimana. Credo sia abbastanza irritante e irrispettoso parlare ad alta voce, sapendo perfettamente che stavamo nella nostra camera di prima mattina. Ce ne sarebbero altri di esempi ma non voglio rovinarlo del tutto! Comunque bella Polignano ma no la struttura.

This is one of the best B&B’s I’ve stayed in. The host Matteo contacted me in advance to make sure my arrival went as smoothly as possible.
Our car was safely parked and we were transferred from there to the B&B. Matteo was extremely welcoming and also told us al the great places to visit.
The location of the B&B was perfect and we had a gorgeous balcony with a table and chairs.
The breakfast area was upstairs on the roof top which was lovely.
Matteo was friendly, hospitable and always happy.
The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable.
We stayed at four locations over our 10 day trip and by far Tra le Mura was the best. Thank you xx.

Excellent B&B. Matteo is the best host of any location we have stayed during our six weeks in Italy. He is very responsive and offers great suggestions for dining nearby. He helped with a taxi and reconfirmed rental car reservations for us. The rooms in the B&B are wonderful. I would not stay anywhere else in Polignano. We will return in the future when the weather is a little better.

Il B&B "Tra le mura" è un gioiellino posto al centro della bianca Polignano. Posizione comodissima e alloggio pulitissimo. Matteo è accogliente e gentile, è stato un vero piacere conoscerlo e poter ascoltare i suoi racconti su Polignano. Colazione ricca con vista mare. Io e la mia amica siamo state benissimo. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

Wow! This B&B is really nice and wonderful.
The style of the house, of the rooms is totally great: all the house is very well designed: nice furniture, nice painting and decoration: I really would be able to design my house like that and I really would like to live in such an house all the year long.
