The B&B “Tra le Mura” is an independent and recently renovated period house. Located in the wonderful historic center of Polignano a Mare close to the suggestive balconies suspended over the Adriatic Sea. The Terrace, a common area overlooking the sea, will enchant you.

It has five rooms with double basic accommodation, one of which is double for single use and two for multiple use.

In the face of the recent CORONA VIRUS epidemic, we guarantee the Cleaning and Disinfection of rooms and common areas according to national guidelines.

Polignano as well as being awarded as the most welcoming country in the world by booking, is a seaside resort with a crystalline and wonderful sea. Country suspended on the cliff 20 meters high above the sea offers breathtaking views. Birthplace of artists such as DOMENICO MODUGNO and PINO PASCALI. Matheo was very accommodating to all of our needs. He was courteous in offering cooking experiences and suggesting places to visit. He was easy to converse with about the area. The staff were pleasant and maintained the cleanliness and attractiveness of the B&B. The breakfast provided was nice. \n\nTra le Mura is centrally located in Posignano la Mura, making it possible for us to walk to various places, including the lot where our car was parked. We would definitely revisit!

We took the quadruple room, very nice and characteristic, perhaps the only flaw is the shower, a little uncomfortable if we really want to find a flaw. Everything else great both as a location and as the owner's welcome who gave us excellent logistical advice. The breakfast then excellent and abundant. Highly recommended.

Tra le Mura is an ideal small B&B. Very well located, in the heart of Polignano, the room was very clean and welcoming (many small attentions for the traveler). Mateo, the manager, is perfect, available, helpful, and welcoming. Perfect.

Polignano is a wonderful place, the structure is located in the heart of the historic center so undoubtedly spectacular. But there are two negative notes. The huge and special breakfast that the owner so much boasted about were two croissants, a cappuccino, and two coffees (80 euros per day breakfast included). I have photos that testify to everything. TERRIBLE! The second sore point is the owner himself! Perhaps he doesn't particularly like Romans and therefore rightly disregarded our presence in the room in front, attached to his reception (a distance of 50cm from the hole). Every morning at 8 it was better to leave or he would wake you up with all his calls and his morning chats. Unfortunately, we work all year round and have only one week available. I think it is quite annoying and disrespectful to speak loudly, knowing perfectly well that we were in our room early in the morning. There would be other examples but I don't want to spoil it completely! However, beautiful Polignano but not the structure.

This is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. The host Matteo contacted me in advance to make sure my arrival went as smoothly as possible. Our car was safely parked and we were transferred from there to the B&B. Matteo was extremely welcoming and also told us all the great places to visit. The location of the B&B was perfect and we had a gorgeous balcony with a table and chairs. The breakfast area was upstairs on the rooftop, which was lovely. Matteo was friendly, hospitable, and always happy. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We stayed at four locations over our 10-day trip and by far Tra le Mura was the best. Thank you xx.

Excellent B&B. Matteo is the best host of any location we have stayed during our six weeks in Italy. He is very responsive and offers great suggestions for dining nearby. He helped with a taxi and reconfirmed rental car reservations for us. The rooms in the B&B are wonderful. I would not stay anywhere else in Polignano. We will return in the future when the weather is a little better.

Il B&B "Tra le mura" è un gioiellino posto al centro della bianca Polignano. Posizione comodissima e alloggio pulitissimo. Matteo è accogliente e gentile, è stato un vero piacere conoscerlo e poter ascoltare i suoi racconti su Polignano. Colazione ricca con vista mare. Io e la mia amica siamo state benissimo. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

Nel cuore di Polignano, in ottima posizione, abbiamo soggiornato in una camera semplice ma fornita di ogni comfort. Ottima la colazione, abbondante e variegata, che viene servita in terrazza dalla efficiente e gentilissima Saveria. Monumentale Matteo, sempre disponibile e immensamente paziente.

I due giorni trascorsi sono stati piacevoli, "Tra le Torri" è un posto pulito silenzioso a due passi dal centro storico, il Gestore discreto e disponibile quindi lo consiglio a tutti.
