Description

Tenuta Montincello is near the town of Vieste, in the heart of the Gargano National Park, one of the most beautiful places in Puglia. It is approximately 900 metres from Scialmarino Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches of Vieste and the Gargano region, with crystal clear water and fine sand, where the Umbra Forest meets the sea, an area rich in both history and natural beauty. It is approximately 6km to the North of Vieste and 12 km from the Foresta Umbra –the ancient church of Santa Maria di Merino and the Salata Necropoli (an ancient cemetery of historical interest) can be found nearby. Tenuta Montincello is owner-managed and is made up of holiday villas, apartments and rooms available on a bed and breakfast basis, all recently built. The holiday villas, fully furnished and equipped, are situated in an olive grove of around 13, 000 square metres. The olive grove is still active and produces extra-virgin olive oil. My name is Angelo and my wife Anna and, in recent years with our children, Alice and Alessio are the owners and operators of this structure.

We started this business in 2003 with 5 cottages for arriving now with 15 houses.

On Tenuta, as well as entertain you for the wonderful holiday of Gargano and discover its beautiful bays and beaches, of producing 'good extra virgin olive oil.

The place has great potential, it is very welcoming and well-kept, as well as strategically located compared to the neighboring towns and essential services, but lacks recreational areas sheltered from the sun. Furthermore, the rooms lack air conditioning, which greatly reduces overall comfort.

With my partner, we stayed at this property, choosing the two-room apartment, 3 days and 4 nights. Top cleanliness! We really relaxed. The houses are among the olive trees :) and there is also the possibility of having barbecues in the greenery; not far from Vieste and Peschici, nearby and beautiful beaches. Well served by bars and supermarkets, riding stables. Very kind and friendly owners. Highly recommended. The only flaw is that there are no air conditioners, but we adapted with the fans in the house.

Excellent structure immersed in the greenery a few kilometers from Vieste, very friendly and helpful hosts and never intrusive, excellent cleanliness and quite comfortable house. Some things to review in the assortment of the kitchen side and chairs outside the property, but definitely a structure to recommend! Until next time.

The structure lacks air conditioning, which in my opinion is needed! Then a room with washing machines is missing. There is also a poor internet signal! Apart from that, everything is fine. Clean and very friendly managers. Suitable estate for those with children, with games and a very quiet place.

It's been about 10 years that my husband and I spend our holidays in Vieste, a beautiful town like the rest of Gargano, we are in love with it. This year we stayed at Tenuta Montincello and we were very happy with our choice. The two-room villa they gave us is, compared to where we stayed in the past years, much more spacious and functional, spotlessly clean and with a huge bathroom. Outside, in a well-kept olive grove, in addition to the veranda there is an exclusive courtyard and a nice barbecue area among the olive trees. Very courteous staff and available for every request, sea less than a kilometer away.

After my short but wonderful stay, I booked for July and recommended Tenuta Montincello to some friends from Milan, and I'm happy and glad I did. Amazing location. Vieste is already an unforgettable place and coming across structures like this is a real stroke of luck. Welcoming and friendly owners, new cottages with plenty of space around, it feels like being at home. Even the price is great.

Great holiday. Beautiful Residence in the middle of an olive grove, fair prices, new and well-cleaned cottages, we were assigned a very spacious two-room apartment, there are barbecues for outdoor grilling near the cottages and the Bar at the entrance of Tenuta Montincello. You can walk to the sea and the place is much quieter compared to campsites by the sea. Beautiful Vieste, its beaches and the local people, what can I say, excellent.
