The house was in a truly excellent location, and you could reach a beautiful beach in less than 10 minutes on foot.

What can I say about this property and the people who host it,other than they went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family in this beautiful part of the world,an area often overlooked by more popular destinations but easily reachable for day trips,having nothing more than an hour's drive away.We had initially intended to move around and day-trip our way around the Salento area to the better-known beaches and towns,not realising that,an eight-minute walk away,there was a truly picturesque beach.And there we stayed for an entire week.Grab your snorkel and you are set.The property itself is immaculately built and maintained,inside and out,and has lots of usable outdoor space.I really cannot rate this property and its hosts highly enough.10/10.Thanks again,guys.

Where do I even begin? If I could give a higher rating I would. Most importantly I would return to stay at this home a million times over! From before check-in to after check-out Marcello (the host) was extremely communicative, helpful and accommodating not to mention his response rate was superb. I will begin by saying this villa is as charming in person as it is in photos. In fact, the pictures do not do it justice. It is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay (with or without children). We barely had to bring anything outside of clothing for our vacation for 10 days. We were greeted by Don Mimmo who was the captain of the show. He brought us fresh figs as often as he could, shared delicious homemade food, and even graced us with his company anytime we passed by his home just down the street. His family welcomed us for a delicious dinner with an abundance of homemade authentic food from the region. My family and I could not express our gratitude to Marcello, Mimmo and his entire family for being such wonderful hosts! This was a trip that we will remember forever not just for the beautiful beaches just a short walk away, or the beautiful and well equipped home, but for the hospitality that we were given during our entire stay. The house is located within a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches and just a short car ride if you feel the need to explore other beaches (which I promise you will not feel the need). Shopping for all of your needs is also just a few minutes away. The area is very calm, quiet and relaxing but also extremely close to many restaurants, bars, and gelaterias just to name a few. Two thumbs up to chef Don Mimmo! I hope everyone gets the chance to book this experience because for us it was not just a vacation rental but a wonderful experience that we will cherish for years and years.
