The Sole del Mediterraneo Agriturismo is located on the Santa Rita farm in Frassanito, just 10 minutes from Otranto. It is easily accessible by taking the SP 366 coastal road that leads to San Cataldo.
The main strength of our facility is its proximity to the white sandy beaches and crystal clear sea of Frassanito, Alimini, Baia dei Turchi, Torre dell'Orso, la grotta della Poesia, San Foca. Its strategic location also allows for easy visits to the most beautiful places in Salento (Lecce, Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca and all the villages of the Greek Salento, rich in history, culture, and traditions).
The farm extends over 5 hectares of land cultivated with olive groves, orchards, citrus groves, vegetables, cereals, and more.
The guest rooms have been carefully created from the renovation of an old barn. They all have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, fridge, and hairdryer. They are surrounded by the greenery of a large pine forest area and well-kept spaces where guests can enjoy moments of healthy relaxation, all with a wonderful panoramic view of Lake Alimini.
Since our farm is mainly family-run, we provide our guests with a warm and friendly welcome, as we would for our friends.
Additionally, our farm offers bicycle rental and ample parking facilities.

We will serve breakfast every morning on the terrace of your room, at the time established at the time of check-in. We will delight you with coffee, cappuccino, espresso, white milk, latte macchiato, tea, various artisan pastries of your choice, also on the tray you will find rusks, biscuits, fresh bread, jams, nutella, honey, butter, yogurt, fruit juices, cereals and seasonal fruit. During my trip to Salento, I stayed for two nights in this beautiful agriturismo. I will fondly remember the care and the authentic and sincere hospitality. The furnishings are very beautiful and clean. Set in a well-kept, magnificent environment and quiet location. Breakfast, which was served directly on the room balcony every morning, left nothing to be desired. The hosts are very warm and helpful. We felt very comfortable and were able to relax properly. Very nice place, immersed in the greenery and well maintained. The various beaches are easily reachable by bike (provided by the property). Host Vittorio is very kind and attentive to the various needs of the customers.

I was very, very satisfied with my stay at the 'Sole del Mediterraneo' property. In particular, I greatly appreciated the fact that it is completely surrounded by greenery. This allowed me to relax a lot. Also, the distance from the sea 2-3 km prevented me from stressing to reach the wonderful beaches of Otranto. In short, it is a property that I recommend to everyone for a holiday period and also for a weekend.

We stumbled upon this property by chance and luckily, a room became available providentially for us to stay. The property is new and impeccably clean. Vittorio and Antonella are the kind and helpful managers of this little paradise. They provided us with all kinds of information and even booked the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast is abundant and, above all, carefully prepared down to the smallest details with fresh fruit and delicious pastries every morning. The property is in an excellent location, close to all the most beautiful beaches in the area and a few kilometers from Otranto. It is located in a very well-kept park, overlooking the Alimini lakes, where one can enjoy true tranquility. Guests also have access to a large private parking lot. It's a shame we only stayed here for a few days.
