Description
Sistò Petite Maison is located a few meters from the Altamura Cathedral and the Santa Chiara Monastery.

It offers two double bedrooms, each with a third bed (sofa bed) and a private bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. There is a shared kitchen and reading corner.

It is a place to relax and experience our history in a modern way. Every detail has been taken care of to ensure that your stay is a true experience.

The rooms are named "HIM" and "HER".

Walking on a soft oak parquet floor that gives warmth to the skin, even in the bathroom with an infinitely large shower, and being able to sleep in the shadow of the ancient Santa Chiara Monastery, in a room with ancient terracotta vaults and wooden beams (room "HER"), or in a spacious and very bright room (room "HIM") with a private balcony where you can observe the bell tower of the small San Nicola church just a few meters away, cannot be defined as anything but a fantastic experience.

Only 20 meters away from the ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, where the cloistered nuns still reside, keepers of the ancient recipe of the typical sweet called "tette delle monache".

In the same location, there is a pastry shop with the same name where you can buy all kinds of sweets.

At 50 meters away, there is the ancient Santa Chiara oven, the oldest oven in Altamura where you can taste our focaccia baked in a wood-fired oven. A visit is a must.

At 100 meters, here we are in Corso "Federico II" in front of the impressive Cathedral.

My advice for travelers is only one: get lost among the beautiful alleys and cloisters that make our historic center a small work of art.

Beautiful house, historic center of Altamura, external parking outside the walls for a fee. Completely renovated and furnished with excellent taste. Ideal for groups of friends as the rooms with private bathrooms are completely separate, contributing to maximum privacy. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Sistò Petite Maison and felt pampered. Perfect location to walk around the center of Altamura. The car can be parked just outside the center, about 100 m from the property. Clean and cozy room, easy and fast communication with the owner. Breakfast is served in a bakery next to Sistò Petite Maison, excellent.

I stayed at the Sistò Petite Maison for 4 days, everything was perfect! Excellent location very close to the center of Altamura and to the parking lots outside the walls. Also convenient to reach the neighboring villages. A special thanks to the owner for creating this little gem.

Beautiful room, everything very well taken care of, impeccable. The decoration is lovely, super clean. The location is very central, strategic. Claudio is super kind. It was a beautiful experience passing through Bari. We recommend it without a doubt.

We have just returned from a small family vacation on Easter and we already miss Sistò Petite Maison. The stay was truly pleasant, the apartment is extremely well-kept in every detail and upon entering you can perceive all the attention that Claudio, the host, has towards his guests. Beautiful and refined environments, super clean and fragrant. Claudio, with discretion, is always present and available. We hope to return to be his guests again, maybe in another location.
