Additionally, it is conveniently situated just 750 meters from the train station and only a 30-minute drive from Salento Airport in Brindisi.

My name is Carmen and I live in Lecce. SamEle B&B is the long-awaited result of a passionately and diligently planned and executed project. This establishment was built in the 1950s and features stunning, unique star-shaped vaults that highlight the beautiful details in local stone, tuff, and Lecce stone. The rooms, each with their own bathroom, refrigerator, safe, Android television, Wi-Fi connection, and air conditioning, have been meticulously curated to offer a delicate and welcoming atmosphere. Located near the historic center, the neighborhood is only 300 meters away from Porta Rudiae and 700 meters from Lecce train station. It is a very quiet area. There is free parking and various amenities nearby, such as pubs, restaurants, pizzerias, delis, supermarkets, tobacco shops, and typical stores. It is easily accessible from the ring roads. The strategic location of the B&B allows guests to explore the city of Lecce without needing public transportation or a car.

Porta Rudiae is the most interesting and oldest of the three gates in Lecce, which provides access to the city's historic center. This area is characterized by a series of ancient buildings and palaces made of the warm and evocative tones of Lecce stone, mixed with grand and historic examples of the Baroque style. Of particular interest are the Cathedral, Roman Amphitheater, Basilica of Santa Croce, and the Sigismondo Castromediano Museum.
