The Riposo del Vento B&B lays in the heart of Valle d’Itria, in the countryside of Casalini, hamlet of Cisternino: only a few kilometres from the sea and in a central position from the historical small towns of Ostuni, the ‘white town’, MartinaFranca, the ‘lady’, Alberobello, city of the trulli, declared world heritage by UNESCO, Locorotondo e Ceglie Messapica. Cities like Lecce, Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, are around an hour by car away.
The complex dates back to the 19th century, and is constituted by a mix of trulli and lamie, built in local stone. The Riposo del Vento B&B is placed in a big garden with ancient olive trees, pool and children's play, completely at the guests’ disposal. Here you’ll be able to work on your tan or take shelter in the shadow of the trees, reading a book, or idly swing in a hammock, immersed in the unique sounds of nature.
The trullo It’s a two bedrooms apartment, kitchen and a lounge loft with a sofa bed for 2 childrens. The bedrooms have all bathroom and independent entrance. It is for 4 adults or for 4 adults with 2 childrens. It has washing machine, equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD.
The lamia It’s a one-roomed flat for two, with private bathroom and kitchenette. It has equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD. There are 6 lamia like that.
The Lamia Double: it is a two bedroom apartment with kichenette and bathroom, perfect for a family of four person. It has washing machine, equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD, barbecue.
All the apartments and studios have their own pergola.
The Riposo del Vento B&B has mountain bikes at the guests’ disposal, to travel around the countryside or the coast. They can be rented by the day or the week.

My name is Francesca and I am originally from Florence. After traveling the world for long periods, I arrived in the Itria Valley with my Argentinian partner Juan.
We fell in love with these places and their typicality and we decided to stop here in search of peace and quiet.
A simple life, but surrounded by nature and in the company of our many children (all 4 born here) and the animals (dogs, cats, horses, sheep, chickens..) that accompany us and animate our lives.
We have always traveled, we know how important it is for a tourist to be guided and accompanied to discover the beauty and gastronomy typical of the surrounding places.
Therefore we help our customers to make itineraries and choose the most typical (and less touristy!) Restaurants and we are always ready to help for any problem; however, our presence is very discreet and every guest here feels at home!
I speak English, French, Spanish and Portuguese very well..as well as Italian: -).

A very beautiful place, arranged with a lot of authenticity and taste. We felt at home. The breakfast is delicious and made with love. Francesca, our host, was very welcoming and understanding. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the pool, but I am sure it is fantastic. There are very good restaurants nearby.

My family and I stayed at this property for two nights. Beautiful two-room apartment in a typical trullo, equipped with all the comforts. The outdoor area in front consists of a table and a deck chair. The area is immersed in greenery, ideal for relaxation and for nature lovers. The pool is nice, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Breakfast is not very rich but good, with tables surrounded by olive trees. The owners are very kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

An oasis of peace and relaxation. It is very pleasant, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and the pool. I don't have much to complain about, just a small suggestion: I would change the shower curtain in the room as it is very dirty. Nice idea of having a bath in nature with the shower in the pool area for guests to use, but a cleaning every now and then would be appreciated because the toilet was in a pitiful state. As I read in other reviews, there are a bit too many bees in the pool which become bothersome after a while. Of course, being in nature, one has to expect that; I don't know, maybe if the adjacent plants to the pool were changed or taken care of, it might change something. Overall, a very pleasant weekend. Structure approved and recommended.

Certainly a nice place with a lot of hospitality, but I would say that the breakfast lives on its reputation. It's a pity that in a country with so many oranges, fresh sugar was not offered.

An excellent place to feel like a local. There are two types of stone houses available: either trulli (round) or lamie (rectangular, always with a terrace). Stylishly furnished. There is a delicious breakfast on site, including good coffee. WiFi is available at the breakfast area. Quite far from the main road, access is via a blind street with asphalt. On one hand, this ensures wonderful peace, but for dinner it is more convenient to drive (although it is possible to walk). We did not use the pool (mid-October). The sea water was definitely warmer. A few friendly, tame cats roam the area. For many people, this may be a plus, but it may bother or cause allergies for some. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be happy to return to Puglia again on our next visit.

Describing our stay at the establishment is very simple. Everything was excellent. The Riposo del vento Trulli e B&B is truly a wonderful place. Francesca is an excellent and always present host. Wonderful complex of trulli and lamie in a marvelous garden a short distance from the beautiful villages of Cisternino, Locorotondo, Alberobello, and Martina Franca. Abundant and genuine breakfast to be enjoyed in the garden. Stay in a lamia for 2 people, tastefully furnished. The shower, however, is very small with a curtain. Excellent recommendations for local restaurants from the owner.

We fell in love looking at the photos and reviews. Upon arrival, a slight disappointment. The accommodation was nice, but some architectural solutions had some flaws. For example, I remember well the stone lamp holder in the "corridor" between the wall and the bed at chin level. Another disappointment was the breakfast: despite reading all the positive reviews, we realized it was not served. The owner tried to make up for it by offering us some sweets, but could have organized a small breakfast anyway. After these downsides, though, there was a nice surprise: the pool, always welcome after covering many kilometers in the heat.

Casalini was a fantastic village in Puglia. The easy walk from here and the amazing friendliness of the people in this area was very much appreciated. Our host Francesca was friendly and helpful at all times and the BNB was good although we found our room (a lammi not trulli) a bit small for 7 nights and required aircon consistently on as no flow through ventilation.

We were three couples and had a great time. A truly unique experience. The location of the trulli was particularly attractive from every point of view. We breathed a rural atmosphere but at the same time every comfort was guaranteed. The whinnying of the horses and the barking of the dogs accompanied us in the morning at breakfast. Breakfast was the classic cherry on top: Mrs. Bea's pastry every morning made us find freshly baked cakes, biscuits, and taralli, and their scent reached the trulli directly. Personally, I set aside the savory to focus exclusively on tasting the sweets. I highly recommend the cake with ricotta and jam: Fantastic. The owners were splendid, full of information and at the same time attentive to our requests. Really congratulations. Absolutely recommendable.

I stayed with my family, there were 3 of us, on the first weekend of July. We had a great time at Riposo del vento Trulli e B&B, a place away from the chaos but close to the sea, villages to visit, and dining centers. The highlight was the pool, because after a day out it's nice to just relax by the poolside. The lamia was clean and perfect for three. Thanks to Francesca and the family, I hope to come back soon.

For breakfast, if there was a possibility to give 100, I would have selected it. Only genuine homemade food, excellent and tasty. I recommend trying the rustic filling, but you have to wake up early, otherwise you will only find the dish (thanks Bea).
The place is described by the name. If you need a relaxing and regenerating period, I highly recommend this B&B. The location is great for those who love the countryside and nature, a bit inconvenient when going down to the sea, but considering the area, it is impossible to find facilities that do not have this inconvenience. I was a guest in a Lamia, clean, fresh and very nice, where every space is used to the fullest. It is not very big, but for two people it is very comfortable and nothing is missing. The exteriors are very well-kept, immersed in greenery and very spacious, allowing you to disconnect from the chaos of the cities. The kindness of the owners, I take this opportunity to thank Francesca and her partner, whose name I do not remember, close the circle of a beautiful and pleasant period spent in their facility.

The accommodation and the operators were simply wonderful! Such warmth and everything was very relaxed. We were traveling with our 7-month-old daughter and she too was very cuddled by Francesca and especially Bea. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Perfect and charming place to discover the area. Typical trulli, Francesca the owner is just very nice. Beata who works there is very helpful. We had a great time and would advise you to go there to stroll around and then have a nice swim in the close swimming pool after a nice day discovering villages. The place is enchanting, it feels like being in a fairy tale. It is wonderful. In the morning, breakfast is served at the outdoor tables, characteristic. The friendliness we found is something that will remain in my heart. The owners are very kind, always available and smiling. The place is very well cared for, even in the details. Furthermore, the structure is located in the countryside, but very close to the village, which can also be reached on foot in five minutes. I recommend it!
