The Riposo del Vento B&B lays in the heart of Valle d’Itria, in the countryside of Casalini, hamlet of Cisternino: only a few kilometres from the sea and in a central position from the historical small towns of Ostuni, the ‘white town’, MartinaFranca, the ‘lady’, Alberobello, city of the trulli, declared world heritage by UNESCO, Locorotondo e Ceglie Messapica. Cities like Lecce, Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, are around an hour by car away.
The complex dates back to the 19th century, and is constituted by a mix of trulli and lamie, built in local stone. The Riposo del Vento B&B is placed in a big garden with ancient olive trees, pool and children's play, completely at the guests’ disposal. Here you’ll be able to work on your tan or take shelter in the shadow of the trees, reading a book, or idly swing in a hammock, immersed in the unique sounds of nature.
The trullo It’s a two bedrooms apartment, kitchen and a lounge loft with a sofa bed for 2 childrens. The bedrooms have all bathroom and independent entrance. It is for 4 adults or for 4 adults with 2 childrens. It has washing machine, equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD.
The lamia It’s a one-roomed flat for two, with private bathroom and kitchenette. It has equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD. There are 6 lamia like that.
The Lamia Double: it is a two bedroom apartment with kichenette and bathroom, perfect for a family of four person. It has washing machine, equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, heating, tv LCD, barbecue.
All the apartments and studios have their own pergola.
The Riposo del Vento B&B has mountain bikes at the guests’ disposal, to travel around the countryside or the coast. They can be rented by the day or the week.

My name is Francesca and I am originally from Florence. After traveling the world for long periods, I arrived in the Itria Valley with my Argentinian partner Juan.
We fell in love with these places and their typicality and we decided to stop here in search of peace and quiet.
A simple life, but surrounded by nature and in the company of our many children (all 4 born here) and the animals (dogs, cats, horses, sheep, chickens..) that accompany us and animate our lives.
We have always traveled, we know how important it is for a tourist to be guided and accompanied to discover the beauty and gastronomy typical of the surrounding places.
Therefore we help our customers to make itineraries and choose the most typical (and less touristy!) Restaurants and we are always ready to help for any problem; however, our presence is very discreet and every guest here feels at home!
I speak English, French, Spanish and Portuguese very well..as well as Italian: -).

Casalini was a fantastic village in Puglia.
The easy walk from here and the amazing friendliness of the people in this area was very much appreciated.
Our host Francesca was friendly and helpful at all times and the BNB was good although we found our room (a lammi not trulli) a bit small for 7 nights and required aircon consistently on as no flow through ventilation.

Perfect and charming place to discover the area. Typical trulli, Francesca the owner is just very nice. Beata who works there is very helpful. We had a great time and would advise you to go there to stroll around and then have a nice swim in the close swimming pool after a nice day discovering villages. We had a grea time there. don't hesitate. We loved it.

Die Unterkunft und die Betreiber waren einfach herrlich! Solch eine herzlichkeit und alles war sehr entspannt. Wie waren mit unserer 7 Monate alten Tochter unterwegs und auch sie wurde von Francesca und vor allem bea sehr geherzt.
Das Frühstück war der absolute Hammer. Immer etwas neues, alles frisch gebacken und frisch aus dem Garten.
Kann man nur weiter empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Splendido complesso di trulli e lamie in un giardino meraviglioso a poca distanza dai bei paesini di Cisternino, Locorotondo, Alberobello e Martina Franca.
Abbondante e genuina colazione da consumare in giardino.
Soggiorno in una lamia per 2 persone, arredata con molto gusto. La doccia però molto piccola con tenda.
Ottimi suggerimenti di ristoranti locali da parte della proprietaria.

Posto davvero bello, immerso meravigliosamente nella natura ed in piena armonia con essa! Una serie di Trulli molto carini ben arredati e serviti con ampie aree esterne di relax all'ombra di una natura rigogliosissima! Colazione davvero abbondante e completa. I gestori molto, ma davvero molto, simpatici. Consigliatissimo!

Ci eravamo innamorati guardando le foto e le recensioni. All'arrivo un filo di delusione.
L'alloggio era bello ma le soluzioni architettoniche qualche neo ce l'hanno. per ex, la mia testa rammenta bene il portalampade di pietra nel "corridoio" tra parete ed il letto ad altezza Killer.
Altra delusione, la colazione, dopo aver letto tutto il bene possibile, mi accorgo, dopo, che non viene servita.
La proprietaria mitiga il fatto con l'offerta di qualche dolcetto...ma poteva fare di meglio e organizzare comunque una piccola colazione. Dopo questi minus però un bel plus, la piscina, sempre ben gradita dopo aver macinato km e caldo.

Siamo stati in questa struttura per il bbday e siamo rimasti veramente contenti di aver ritrovato tutto quello che le recensioni riportavano...è anche di più.
Il posto è veramente magnifico, con i suoi trulli immersi nella campagna, in posizione strategica per visitare le tante bellezze dei dintorni, di mare e non solo.
La pace e la tranquillità la fanno da padroni ma l’accoglienza di Francesca e Juan è il valore aggiunto. Grazie di averci regalato questa bellissima tappa nel nostro viaggio alla scoperta della splendida Puglia.

Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni fantastici presso questo B&B. Luogo da favola, accoglienza calorosa da parte dell'host Francesca, buona posizione, a soli 6 minuti di macchina dal paese di Cisternino. Ci torneremo!

È una bellissima struttura immersa nel verde della valle d Itria.
Si raggiungono in pochi minuti paesini stupendi come Cisternino o città incantevoli come Ostuni.
Francesca che si occupa degli ospiti è attenta e simpatica.
Ideale per andarci coi bimbi piccoli ci sono tante attenzioni dedicate a loro
Dai cavalli alla piscina non manca nulla.

Eravamo in tre coppie e siamo stati benissimo. Un'esperienza veramente unica nel suo genere.
La location dei trulli era particolarmente attraente, da ogni punto di vista. Si respirava un'atmosfera rurale ma nel contempo ogni comodità veniva garantita. Il nitrito dei cavalli e l'abbaiare dei cani ci accompagnavano la mattina a colazione.
La colazione era la classica ciliegina sulla torta: la pasticceria della signora Bea ogni mattina ci faceva trovare torte, biscotti, taralli appena sfornati e il loro profumo arrivava direttamente nei trulli. Io personalmente ho lasciato da parte il salato per dedicarmi esclusivamente alla degustazione dei dolci.
Consiglio vivamente la torta con la ricotta e marmellata: Fantastica.
I proprietari sono stati splendidi, ricchi di ogni informazione e nel contempo attenti alle nostre richieste.
Complimenti davvero.

Sono stata con la mia famiglia eravamo in 3 il primo week-end di luglio, siamo stati benissimo, posto lontano dal caos ma vicino a tutto mare, paesi da visitare, centro per mangiare.
Fiore all'occhiello la piscina perché dopo una giornata in giro è bello anche solo stare sdraiati a bordo piscina e rilassarsi.
La lamia era pulita e perfetta per tre. Grazie a Francesca e famiglia spero di tornarci presto.

Per la colazione se ci fosse stata la possibilità di dare 100 l' avrei selezionata. Solo cibo genuino preparato in casa, ottimo e gustoso. Vi consiglio di assaggiare il rustico ripieno ma dovete svegliarvi presto altrimenti trovate solo il piatto (grazie Bea).
Il posto è descritto dal nome se avete bisogno di un periodo rilassante e rigenerante vi consiglio vivamente questo B&B. La posizione è ottima per chi ama la campagna e la natura un po' scomoda quando si scende a mare ma considerata la zona è impossibile trovare strutture che non abbiano questo inconveniente. Sono stato ospite in una Lamia, pulita fresca e molto carina dove ogni spazio è sfruttato al meglio, non è molto grande ma per due persone è comodissima non manca nulla. Gli esterni sono molto curati immersi nel verde e molto spaziosi, ti permettono di staccare dal caos delle città. La cortesia dei proprietari, colgo l' occasione di ringraziare Francesca ed il suo compagno di cui non ricordo il nome, chiudono il cerchio di una bel e piacevole periodo trascorso nella loro struttura.

Il Riposo del Vento è davvero incantevole. Il posto è stupendo e i proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Inoltre la struttura si trova in un'ottima posizione, essendo a pochi chilometri da diverse città interessanti (Cisternino, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alberobello).

Il posto è incantevole, sembra di essere in una fiaba, è meraviglioso, la mattina si fa colazione sui tavoli fuori, caratteristico. La cordialità che abbiamo trovato è una cosa che mi resterà nel cuore, i proprietari sono gentilissimi, sempre disponibili e con il sorriso, il posto è molto curato anche nei dettagli, inoltre la struttura si trova in campagna, ma vicinissimo al paese, dove si può andare anche a piedi in 5 minuti, lo consiglio!
