Description
The Giovanna Pension, a family-run establishment with a long tradition in tourism, has been operating in the hotel industry since 1977 and is one of the historical activities of the Tremiti Islands.
While maintaining that simple yet balanced architecture made of essential colors and natural materials that distinguish the typical homes of seaside resorts, it underwent significant renovation in the spring of 2015, raising the quality and reception standards of the building.
The building is located in the heart of San Domino Island, precisely behind the central Sandro Pertini square, where the famous "Meridiana" is located.
The structure is close to the access of the renowned and enchanting Matano cove, where the villa of the great and unforgettable singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla is also situated. He was a lover of the archipelago and its natural beauty.
Thanks to its strategic location, it is possible to reach, in just a few minutes and comfortably on foot, all the most famous bays of San Domino Island, such as Spido cove, Tramontana cove, Inglesi cove, Benedettini cove, and Rondinelle cove. Alternatively, after a suggestive walk through the green pine forest, you can also reach the remaining and more secluded coves, such as Sale cove, Roselle cove, and Viole cave, until you reach the extreme Zio Cesare cove.
For lunch and dinner, there is a wide choice of nearby restaurants, as well as pizzerias and lounge bars.
The double and triple rooms, made even more comfortable and bright after the recent renovation, all have bathrooms with amenities, shower stalls, and hairdryers. The rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and minibars.
Strict attention to cleanliness and linen service (bath towels, pillowcases, and sheets) completes everything.
The structure also has a shaded garden with chairs and tables, as well as a comfortable terrace, which make the stay even more relaxing.

We stayed at the B&B for 3 nights and were pleasantly welcomed by Dalia at her property. The cleanliness is impeccable, the property is new and well equipped. The location is perfect for reaching all the island's coves on foot. A great destination for those seeking beautiful sea, relaxation and a slow pace of life, away from the daily bustle. First of all, a special praise to the tireless Mrs. Dalia who manages the B&B located in the center and at the same time in a quiet area.
Dalia proved to be correct, discreet, and helpful: she tried to meet various needs and also gave us the opportunity to leave our luggage until the afternoon and to take a shower before departure.
The cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, and all common areas is truly impeccable.
The rooms and bathrooms are not very large, but they have everything you need, including a mini fridge and air conditioning, a large terrace with tables, chairs, and clotheslines.
The self-service Italian breakfast includes packaged products and very good and light Apulian biscuits. Guests also have access to yogurts made by Dalia.
In summary, it is a highly recommended place for anyone not looking for a Grand Hotel.

Exceptional stay in a newly renovated facility; the only downside was the bathroom being too small, but it was well compensated by impeccable cleanliness, the lady's availability, and the presence of all amenities (such as a large terrace where you can hang clothes), services to add to a good breakfast, and the excellent central location valid both for the evening and to reach the various coves. In the end, I felt at home.

We always go to this historic Pensione Da Giovanna in Tremiti. The location is strategic, very central and well-kept. But what makes it special is the care and passion that the owner Dalia puts into managing the Pensione Da Giovanna, making guests feel at home. The rooms are new and very clean. The breakfast is excellent and made with natural products prepared by Dalia's skilled hands.

The stay was really pleasant, thanks especially to the kindness and availability of Mrs. Dalia.
The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the location of the B&B is excellent for visiting the island and its wonderful coves.
For breakfast, there are always homemade cake and yogurt, really very good.
If I were to return to Tremiti, I would definitely stay at Pensione Da Giovanna. See you soon.

We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to everyone. Recently renovated rooms and house, very clean. The lady is very kind and generous with information about coves and restaurants. If possible, I would add something savory to breakfast and maybe some wholemeal bread. Excellent homemade cakes and yogurt! We will definitely come back.

Small Bed & Breakfast (4 rooms) near the little square of S. Domino offers new and very clean accommodations. Common entrance on the first floor from the large terrace equipped with a canopy, table with chairs, and clotheslines available. On the ground floor, there is a well-kept environment where breakfast is served. The rooms are not equipped with a fridge or TV, but upon request, the lady allows guests to keep a few bottles of water in her fridge/freezer. The lady is very kind and available to meet the needs of her customers and give advice on what to visit and where to eat. The breakfast is good, and every day a different homemade cake is served. Obviously not too varied (no savory options) since the pension could accommodate a maximum of 10 people. Highly recommended!

Entering a room of Pensione Da Giovanna as if it were the room of one's own house, simple, spacious, very clean. Mrs. Dalia very kind, polite, helpful. We had never had the opportunity to stay at this B&B (due to lack of rooms) in the Tremiti, our vacation destination for now 3 years that will now become our first point of reference.

My husband and I had a great time. Mrs. Dalia is very helpful in giving advice on which routes to take to reach the coves or where to go for dinner. The rooms are simple, ours without a TV, but very clean. The property has a wifi connection and a large common terrace. I would gladly return with the addition in my suitcase of a pair of tennis shoes or better yet, tracking shoes. I forgot, excellent location.

Beautiful but intense experience at the Tremiti Islands. The manager, Mrs. Dalia, very kind and very good at making the desserts she offered at breakfast. The muffins were a spectacle for the palate. Simple structure but in an excellent position. Prices adequate to those of the island (a bit expensive).

The environment is very familiar and clean. The owner is exquisitely kind, gives very useful advice to visit the island and manage your stay; also prepares excellent cakes for breakfast. The structure is located next to the central square of the island and is an excellent starting point to visit any cove on foot.
