Description

Masseria La Gatta Matta is a typical Puglia farm, located halfway between Bari and Taranto, just a few kilometers from Putignano, Gioia del Colle, Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, and the wonderful Itria Valley. The spaces are finely curated, offering free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, and the possibility of dining. The rooms and apartments are all on the ground floor, spacious and bright, overlooking the estate to enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Outside, there is a large garden where children can have fun, furnished with tables and chairs for breakfast and snacks in the open air. There is also a saltwater pool with a hydromassage.

On request, we offer an Italian-style breakfast made from the products of our farm. Our farm produces flour, milk, meat, eggs, and oil, and the breakfast we serve is prepared by us using genuine ingredients. You will find milk, jams, butter, cakes, yogurt, fresh bread, and fruit. Upon request, we can also prepare an international breakfast. We are equipped to offer gluten-free and lactose-free breakfast options as well.

We are two veterinarians with a passion for nature; we love to travel and share our experiences. From this passion, the Gatta Matta project was born. For years, we have been involved in organic farming and now also in sustainable tourism. We love animals and enjoy promoting the area starting from its naturalistic, architectural, social, and gastronomic peculiarities. At our Masseria, every guest is welcome, respecting their fundamental rights, equal treatment, and non-discrimination of all differences of race, color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, or other kinds.

Lovely structure in an optimal location to explore all the Murge and Matera as well. Rooms furnished with taste and attention to detail, many small details that come out every day and amaze. Valeria and Antonella are special people: with their hospitality they made us feel at home and part of the family. The food is truly excellent, both the different breakfast every day and dinner... all with genuine and good products, carefully selected by our hosts. Excellent facility for children who are well received and find animals, a pool, and spaces to move freely without the need for close supervision. In short, it's a place I would return to tomorrow!
