Description
It is situated on a 12 hectare agricultural property, with olive trees and citrus fruit plants. We produce from these jam and olive oil. Small lots are intended to the production of vegetables that can be harvested and given to the guests.
The manor farm has been recovered obeying the original constructive typology and the stone some times emphasised according to the system “Faccia a Vista”.
In the past the breakfast room hosted “Il Trappeto”, in other words the system used to grind the olives, operated by animal power.

The rooms are situated on the ground floor and ideal for couples who seek an independent and comfortable solution.
The typical star shaped vaulting has been restored, using the original stone to get the old rustic feeling.

The rooms are all served with double beds and with en-suite shower room. The comfort is guaranteed with spacious rooms and air conditioner. The guests have at their disposition the lounge “Trappeto” where you will be served breakfast. In addition, full usage of the kitchen.

The Manor house is positioned in a neuralgic zone that links the main roads that allow you to easily reach the main beaches on the Ionian and the Adriatic Coast. The distance to Gallipoli is 15km, Otranto 30 km and 20 km to Lecce, the capital of Apulia. Furthermore it is 4 km from Galatina, a city of art and only few minutes from Grecia Salentina, where they host the music festival Notte della Taranta.
The Manor house and the surrounding area are in addition and ideal place to perform jogging and to be in touch with the healthy air of the country side.

Breakfast is the most important time of your stay; we will serve you sweet specialties from the region such as pasticciotti, fruttoni, tarts, and fragrant croissants freshly baked from our trusted pastry shop in the tobacco room. Galatina is well-known throughout Salento for inventing the pasticciotto in 1700 at the historic Andrea Ascalone pastry shop.

In addition, we offer delicious and light homemade jams made from the best local ingredients. For those who require gluten-free breakfasts or prefer savory options, we will surely satisfy every request without any extra charge.

A very beautiful Masseria, Alberto is totally kind and accommodating. The accommodation has a new bathroom and is well located to visit the beaches and cities in the area. The breakfast is Italian with sweets and small treats, as well as coffee, tea, and juices. We were completely satisfied with our choice.

We stayed 10 days at this magnificent Masseria Fracchicchi. Alberto, the owner, welcomed us right away with his warmth and availability. In the morning we were served a rich sweet and savory breakfast, different every day. Masseria Fracchicchi is a small paradise immersed in nature, rustic and well maintained. The location is excellent for reaching both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts. Highly recommended.

Superb property. Very clean and well serviced. Excellent breakfast. Very fast WiFi. Peaceful but accessible location. Alberto is fluent in English, is a very helpful guy and a lovely person to stay with. To return here at night and soak up the smell of pine and the quiet solitude of the countryside was perfection.

Stupenda masseria ristrutturata mantenendo le caratteristiche della zona. Camere spaziose che si affacciano sul giardino e sugli ulivi che circondano la masseria. Posizione centrale per raggiungere le spiagge della costa adriatica e ionica. Colazione al top, sia dolce che salata, con prodotti tipici tra cui il pasticciotto. Alberto, il proprietario, molto simpatico e disponibile nel dare consigli sulle spiagge anche meno conosciute dal turismo di massa e sui locali dove andare a cenare. Soggiorno ideale anche per rilassarsi.

Bellissima masseria immersa nel verde. Posto un po' isolato ma perfetto per relax e tranquillità. Le camere sono molto carine e spaziose. La colazione molto varia ogni mattina trovi qualcosa di nuovo sia di dolce che di salato. Il proprietario Alberto è stato molto cordiale e gentile ci ha suggerito anche qualche posto dove andare a mangiare. Che dire soggiorno perfetto e sicuramente se ritorneremo nel Salento ritorneremo assolutamente in questa masseria.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso la masseria Fracchicchi per dieci giorni e l'abbiamo trovata una soluzione splendida per visitare il Salento. Situata in Galatina, che già di per sé merita di essere visitata, consente di raggiungere agevolmente tutte le zone sia sul versante ionico che adriatico. Ristrutturata a nuovo con ottimo gusto, la masseria è dotata di camere provviste di ogni confort. I proprietari Alberto e Azzurra sono persone davvero cordiali, simpatiche e disponibili, incontrarli al mattino per la colazione (ricca e abbondante) un piacevolissimo rito. È anche possibile acquistare l'olio di produzione e noi l'abbiamo fatto. Alla sera rientrare in masseria, sedersi in giardino, circondati da uliveti e agrumeti, nella quiete assoluta e con il cielo stellato era a dir poco fantastico, si, sembrava proprio di essere in luogo magico, incantato. Consigliamo assolutamente il soggiorno in questa masseria, che ha contribuito a rendere la vacanza indimenticabile. Federica e Massimiliano.
