Description
Masseria Ciavea is a genuine historical residence that dates back to the 17th century. The ground floor, featuring impressive stone barrel vaults, originates from the 1600s, while the first floor was constructed in several phases between the early 1800s and 1883, as noted by an inscription on the main balcony. The name of the masseria references an ancient variety of almonds that were grown on the farm as early as the 1800s.

Guests can opt for either bed and breakfast or half-board service, enjoying traditional Apulian dishes made with farm-fresh ingredients. The property, thoughtfully renovated to maintain its original architectural features, offers six spacious accommodations, each equipped with a private bathroom, heating, and air conditioning. Guests also have access to a dining area, an internet point, ample free parking, and a surveillance system.

The farm produces extra virgin olive oil, almonds, cherries, and vegetables, in addition to homemade jams that enhance breakfast. During their stay, guests can participate in educational activities related to farming. Nearby, there are a wellness center, a sports facility, and the archaeological site of Monte Sannace. In less than thirty minutes by car, one can reach the Castellana Caves, the trulli of Alberobello, the Itria Valley, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, the Fasano Zoo Safari, Bari, Taranto, the Alta Murgia Natural Park, Altamura, Castel del Monte, Trani, and Matera with its famous Sassi.

The rooms, featuring original vaulted ceilings from the late 1600s and wrought iron beds, are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. The on-site restaurant offers Apulian specialties made with fresh seasonal ingredients from the farm's garden. Payments are accepted via credit cards from the Visa and Mastercard networks.
