Description

A few kilometers from the beautiful beaches of Salento and in the center of Cannole stay a old farmhouse "Masseria Asteri", a building that dates back to the early 1800s, carefully restored to ensure its guests a relaxing and pleasant well-being.

The farm is composed of five independent rooms, spacious and comfortable with private bathroom in the room.

All rooms overlook the large internal courtyard where there is the garden of the farm, a green space where among the colors and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub you can admire the beautiful sunsets.

Set on the Salento greenhouses, Cannole is a charming town with a land rich in history and nature.
Its feud boasts numerous farms and trulli set among the green of centuries-old olive groves.
In the historic center of the town it is possible to admire the castle, built on a pre-existing defensive structure of the fifteenth century, moving to the outskirts you can admire the Masseria Torcito complex, the most important Fortified Masseria of Salento, set in a Park of about 200 hectares.
Cannole is in a strategic geographical position as it is located in the heart of Salento.
It is therefore easy to reach the nearby Adriatic coast and visit Otranto and all its beautiful beaches, but also the marinas of Melendugno, Roca, Roca vecchia, Torre dell'Orso. But the visitor can also opt for a visit of the Ionian coast: Gallipoli, Mancaversa, Porto Cesareo, Pescoluse, S. Maria di Leuca.

The Masseria Asteri Beb is very well-kept and pleasant, the rooms are bright and super clean. The outdoor area is very pleasant, the manager is very professional as well as his colleague. I liked it a lot, I will definitely come back!

The structure is very beautiful, all renovated. The rooms are spacious. The manager is very friendly. If I may say, the only flaw is the breakfast that is not served in the structure (perhaps due to Covid, it is managed differently) but offered in a nearby bar and is poor in quantity. Apart from this, I highly recommend choosing this structure.
