"Ai Pioppi" is a farmhouse for short-term rentals located in the peaceful and spacious countryside of the Puglia region. It is situated on a 13-hectare organic farm, where pleasant walks can be taken amidst mostly wheat and ancient olive trees, with large walnut and oak trees and small trulli.
Recently renovated with a combination of ecology, efficiency, self-sufficiency in energy production, and respect for traditional features, it is fully air-conditioned and heated, offering Wi-Fi and an electric car charging station. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets.
It consists of a spacious living room-kitchen with a wood-burning fireplace, a bathroom with a shower, and two bedrooms, one of which has a large double bed, and the other has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed. Additionally, the living room has a sofa bed for two.

As a tourist rental, we are unable to provide breakfast or lunch, but the house is equipped with a kitchen and everything you need to prepare, set up, and serve your meals and picnics: induction stove, oven, fridge, kitchen accessories, table linens, and various other utensils, from corkscrew to moka pot. Essential supplies are available. We also provide separate waste collection bins, which we regularly maintain. We will also provide you with information on supermarkets, local shops, bars, and restaurants where you can shop, have breakfast, or have lunch.

Accustomed to the hospitality of my family's countryside, I have decided to open up our farmhouse to tourist accommodation. I love nature and animals, books, and the sea. I adore the countryside and therefore have created a simple and rustic place to share with guests the freedom and tranquility that characterize it, and if desired, allow them to also witness agricultural work.

The farmhouse is peaceful and independent but not too isolated, located between Putignano and Castellana; two kilometers away from these towns and the main shopping and sports centers (swimming pool and “Net” sports center with swimming pool and paddle courts, large “Nadir” sports center with heated pools, paddle courts, and various courses, ten minutes away).
Ten minutes away, there is a train station connected to Bari and other cities, as well as a bus service. The IRCCS "S. De Bellis" is also located ten minutes away.
Putignano offers a very characteristic medieval village, with ancient churches, the Romanazzi-Carducci Museum, the Carnival Museum, and a beautiful Municipal Theater. During Carnival, it comes alive with a famous parade of allegorical floats.
In addition to the Castellana Caves and the trulli of Alberobello, in the area you can visit Noci, the Itria Valley, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, and Cisternino. On the sea, apart from Monopoli and Polignano, you should visit the excavations and the museum of Egnazia. Towards Gioia del Colle, which offers an interesting Archaeological Museum, there are also the excavations of Monte Sannace.
In Castellana, there is also the "Dinosaur Park, " and towards Fasano, the zoo safari.

We are a French family with three children and we were discovering Puglia for the first time. The masseria was wonderful for our stay. Ornella is a very friendly, kind, and caring person who provided us with everything we needed and welcomed us warmly. We arrived at the end of the day, and Ornella offered cookies, milk, and cereal for the children. The masseria is a spacious, quiet, and relaxing place that promotes relaxation and well-being (thank you for the hammock and the lights in the garden!) The children loved spending time outdoors. Ornella even provided toys, and what better way to explore the trullo in the garden? The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning in all the rooms is a real advantage. The sunset is superb, nature is beautiful, and typical of the Murge landscape. Putignano and its charming historic center are right next door. In 20 minutes, you can reach the villages of Locorotondo and Alberobello, as well as Monopoli and Polignano. The sublime and spectacular Castellana Cave is 10 minutes away. We loved our stay at the masseria Ai Pioppi and will return with great pleasure! Thank you so much for everything, Ornella, and congratulations on creating this magical place where everyone feels good, whether they are children or adults. And thank you for the stuffed bunny that wanted to stay longer at the masseria because it was so happy.

All very good. The place is stunning and very quiet. Ornella is welcoming and kind. The beach is only 25 minutes away, and the town of Putignano is great for a morning coffee. Just renovated, clean, air conditioning, garden, shade and sun, all of it. I can only recommend.

Masseria Ai Pioppi is a dream place framed by fields of wheat, olive trees, and beautiful trees. Spacious, bright, and cool in the summer, with two beautiful rooms where you can rest in serene tranquility. The living room is cozy and the kitchen has everything you could wish for. The trees on the patio create very pleasant shady areas to rest and stay cool. You can even catch a glimpse of the sea when the sky is clear! Ornella is a delightful person: welcoming, attentive, and helpful, making everyone feel at ease, preparing the house in a truly impeccable way, and her advice on the area is very valuable!
