We believe that breakfast is an important part of our B&B, in fact, the order in which the two words are listed is purely chronological (first you sleep, then you have breakfast) and not based on importance. Both aspects have the same value and we take particular care in providing a high-quality breakfast service for the pleasure of our guests.
We serve a rich and carefully prepared breakfast, recognized by our clients as a high-level service. Every morning, we prepare croissants and the typical "pasticciotto leccese" with coffee, milk, and tea for those who love an Italian breakfast. We also offer a buffet of butter and jams, fruit juice, Nutella, and yogurt.
We don't neglect the savory options, as every morning we offer a buffet of bread for toasting, ham, cheese, and hard-boiled eggs.
During the good weather, breakfast is served on our terrace, decorated with various plants and flowers. If the weather doesn't allow it or for those who are more sensitive to the cold, we also have a finely furnished and decorated indoor room. Among the best Bed and Breakfasts in Puglia and beyond, the true gem of Salento is Mrs. Rosanna. She welcomed us to her Bed and Breakfast with extreme kindness and hospitality, making us feel at home. She pampered us throughout our stay, preparing a rich and abundant breakfast for us every morning, both sweet and savory. Every day she delighted us with cakes, tarts, pasticciotti, focaccias, rustic leccesi, etc. personally prepared by her. Our room (Lu Maru) was spacious, bright, and with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with all comforts. But what struck us most of all was the extreme cleanliness. We highly recommend anyone visiting Castro to stay at the Bed and Breakfast L'Orizzonte.

The best bed and breakfast experienced during our trip in Salento. Splendid location with a spectacular sea view room, impeccable cleanliness, parking space in front of the door. Sumptuous breakfast on a panoramic terrace. Mrs. Rosanna is a truly exquisite person. She makes with her hands delicious sweets (I ate an incredible amount of 'pasticciotti'!) and is very attentive to guests' preferences (my wife mentioned she really liked the Apulian focaccia and the next morning she prepared it for breakfast). She gave us a lot of useful information about local places and things to do in the area. Chatting with her was very pleasant. We will recommend this property to everyone.

Soggiornato nel mese di luglio in perfetta compagnia, appena arrivati a destinazione abbiamo subito apprezzato la bellezza della struttura e l'impeccabile freschezza e pulizia di essa, ma a catturare la nostra attenzione è stata la piacevole conoscenza della proprietaria del B&B la Signora Rossana!
Una persona speciale che si presta al 100% ai propri clienti per far si che essi passino una delle più belle settimane di vacanza. Mai una sbavatura sulla colazione (eccellente! ma è dire poco) e poi coccolati dalla meravigliosa vista sul mare della terrazza e dalle prelibatezze preparate giorno per giorno da Rossana. Credo che presto ci ritorneremo volentieri.

Wir waren begeistert, es gab wirklich nichts an der Unterkunft, dem Frühstück oder gar den Gastgebern auszusetzen. So was nettes und hilfsbereites wie unsere Gastgeber haben wir selten erlebt und daher können wir dieses Angebot nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir jedenfalls kommen sicher wieder!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B 4 notti e ci siamo trovate benissimo. Stanza ampia con terrazzo pulitissima. La Signora Rosanna gentilissima, disponibile e sempre sorridente ci ha coccolate con dolci buonissimi fatti da lei, biscotti e frutta fresca, ottimo. Gentilezza, cortesia, posizione, pulizia, struttura, direi ai massimi livelli, davvero un bel B&B, come se ne vedono pochi in giro, colazione ottima e abbondante, la signora Rosanna, titolare della struttura ci ha fatto sentire come fossimo a casa nostra. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, la signora Rosanna è sempre stata molto gentile e disponibile, fornendoci consigli sulle spiagge e i luoghi da visitare. Le sue colazioni con dolci buonissimi fatti da lei ci mancheranno molto al rientro a casa. La struttura è accogliente e pulitissima, mai alloggiato in un posto così pulito e tranquillo. La città di Castro è molto bella e si trova in un'ottima posizione dalla quale si raggiungono poi facilmente le varie città del Salento. Consiglieremo sicuramente ad amico questa struttura e speriamo di poterci tornare l'anno prossimo. Un grazie a Rosanna!

Siamo arrivati in quattro in questa struttura lunedì pomeriggio. Accolti calorosamente dalla proprietaria Rosanna, abbiamo subito costatato che la location era fantastica con camere vista mare mozza fiato. Il profumo, la pulizia giornaliera e l'ordine delle camere organizzate nei minimi particolari ha reso ancora più accogliente questo B&B. Per non parlare della gentilezza di Rosanna che con il suo "ben svegliati, dormito bene" addolciva l'inizio della giornata, continuando a coccolarci con i suoi squisiti dolci, preparati personalmente, e la varietà di dolcetti, biscotti e colori che, era un piacere solo sedersi a tavola. Un soggiorno veramente indimenticabile ad prezzo per niente caro.
Da ritornarci sicuramente e da consigliare. Prenotare con largo anticipo per evitare di non trovare posto.

Ho soggiornato nel B&B dal 9 al 19 settembre, io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati benissimo, le colazioni abbondanti e genuine soprattutto i dolci che prepara la sig. Rossana le stanze e tutto il B&B sempre molto pulito, veramente un sogno sicuramente ci ritornerò e lo raccomanderò.

Bella struttura a pochi passi dal centro storico. Camere molto spaziose spazi comuni funzionali e confortevoli, arredamento, pulizia, igiene al top. Non si può avere di più di quello che si può desiderare stando in vacanza in questo b&b. La signora Rosanna è a dir poco fantastica, la sua struttura è bellissima, c'è una vista sul mare fantastica, e la sua colazione è ricca e genuina, le torte e altro sono fatte da lei e poi castro è un gioiellino.

Ho soggiornato presso il B&B l'Orizzonte in un periodo di minor affluenza turistica avendo così l'opportunità di apprezzare, ancor meglio, le ottime caratteristiche della struttura come anche l'affabilità, la disponibilità, la cortesia e la simpatia della signora Rosanna. Alloggiavamo in una bellissima camera "LU MARE", con vista mare, molto elegante, pulita, e con ogni comfort. Per la colazione c'era a disposizione un bellissimo ed elegante salottino o, meglio ancora un terrazzo affacciato sul paese, che ci faceva ancor più apprezzare lo squisito plum-cake all'arancia della signora Rosanna. Una struttura inserita in un caratteristico borgo affacciato sul mare, un punto strategico per visitare la costa Adriatica del Salento. Consigliatissimo.

Ho soggiornato in compagnia del mio compagno dal 22 al 27 agosto scorso e consiglio vivamente questo B&B, gestito in modo efficiente dalla signora Rosanna, persona molto gentile, affabile ed attenta alle esigenze dei propri ospiti. Altamente consigliata.

A due passi dal centro storico, negozi e fermate dei trenini, nella tranquillità più assoluta, è l'ideale per chi vuole di giorno godersi le meraviglie di Castro e di notte riposare e risvegliarsi ammirando un bellissimo panorama gustandosi i profumi del mare.
Una camera molto accogliente, pulita e fornita di ogni servizio.
Colazione abbondante con una torta fatta in casa a dir poco squisita.
Per concludere voglio sottolineare l'educazione, l'accoglienza e la completa disposizione per ogni problema della padrona del B&B. Mettendoci subito al nostro agio, facendoci sentire intorno a noi un'area familiare.

Ottimo - Nel B&B è impossibile trovarsi male, stanze grandi servizi pure, grandi terrazze a vista, locali pulitissimi, colazioni stupende e abbondanti. La signora Rosanna è persona premurosa, gentile, gestisce la struttura con amore ed è bravissima nella preparazione di dolci. Provatelo.

Siamo stati in questo bellissimo B&B per 9 giorni, ci siamo trovati talmente bene che non volevamo più andare via. La bellissima stanza "lu sule" ha una vista davvero bella e rilassante. La signora Rosanna ti mette a tuo agio e ti vizia con colazioni meravigliose e "sorprese" in camera quando la sera torni dalla giornata di mare. La pulizia è impeccabile con vari cambi sia di lenzuola sia di asciugamani. Grazie ancora per aver i fatto passare delle bellissime e confortevoli vacanze!

Struttura nuovissima, pulitissima, in una posizione meravigliosa, gestore molto gentile e disponibile. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene. È una delle poche volte in cui ho trovato pieno riscontro a quanto sembrava dalle descrizioni e dalle foto del sito. La consiglio vivamente a chi dovesse trovarsi dalle parti di Castro, zona bellissima che merita veramente di soggiornare in un altrettanto bellissimo posto, per godere della vista di un mare secondo me senza eguali.

Abbiamo soggiornato al B&B L'Orizzonte per il ponte del 25 Aprile. La signora Rosanna è una donna dal cuore d'oro; disponibile e cordiale, ci ha fatto sentire a casa nostra. La stanza, pulitissima e arredata con gusto, godeva di una meravigliosa vista sul mare. La colazione è abbondante, in grado di soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti. Io e mio marito abbiamo conservato un ottimo ricordo. Lo consigliamo vivamente a tutti.

Siamo stati in questa struttura 9 giorni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Le stanze sono enormi, con il balcone, alcune con vista mare, con tutti i confort (compresi frigorifero e aria condizionata) e la pulizia è impeccabile. Ottima la colazione con dolci tipici salentini e frutta fresca. La signora Rosanna è gentilissima e disponibilissima, ti fa sentire davvero a casa. Consigliatissimo! Noi ci torneremo.

Impossibile trovarsi male. Il B&B è curato nei dettagli, pulitissimo con camera e bagno spaziosi e dotati di tutti i comfort come condizionatore, tv e frigo. La signora Rosanna è premurosa e gentilissima e gestisce con amore questa struttura.

Al bed&breakfast siamo stati molto bene. Rosanna è molto gentile e cortese. L'ambiente è pulitissimo e molto curato nei particolari. Di buon gusto l'arredamento. Biancheria pulita e sostituita frequentemente. Lo consigliamo a tutti.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato per 15 giorni in questa bellissima struttura, gestita da Rosanna, persona squisita, capace di far sentire gli ospiti a casa loro. La stanza, luminosa, grande e con balcone vista mare, è pulitissima ed accogliente. Cambio biancheria da hotel a 4 stelle! La struttura, ristrutturata da poco tempo, è nel centro della splendida Castro. Per raggiungere il mare si può usufruire della navetta. Il Salento è magnifico sia sotto il profilo naturalistico (mare cristallino) che storico ed architettonico. Un caro saluto a Rosanna, alla sorella e al piccolo Giovanni.

Io e mio marito siamo tornati nel B&B l'Orizzonte per il terzo anno consecutivo: ci siamo trovati benissimo. La struttura è in una posizione comoda dove tranquillità e relax sono assicurati, le spiagge sono vicine, Castro Marina e Santa Cesarea sono raggiungibili in un attimo.
