B&B; in the historic center (Barivecchia) but at 50 meters from "via Sparano" the main street of the town. Apartments, particular and comfortable with kitchenette. It characterized by the presence o of characteristic elements of the old town.
It characterized by the presence of a very close workshop for restoration of antique vehicles, hence the name "L'Officina" the workshop.
The rooms of the B & B, designed by architect Stefano Turi resume characteristic elements of the old town such luminaries of the patronal feast of St. Nicola, and antique floors and lamps, mixed with elements reminiscent of the world of vehicles and repair shops.

San Nicola is the historical district of the city of Bari. Having said Bari Vecchia by its inhabitants, is located inside the ancient walls, and is well known, since the nineteenth century, as opposed to the new town (whose construction began in starting from 1813 under the reign of Joachim Murat).
The most characteristic area of the city where grandmothers are dedicated to the manufacture of "orecchiette" (typical pasta that looks like small hears) sitting outside small doors, among the smells of clean clothes hanging in the sun to dry.
Nice place to stay in the real centre of the town, Cathedral, Old castel, Basilic of Saint Nicolas, Museum, Petruzzelli theatre, Piccinni theatre shop, restaurant, pizzeria, pub, the best icecream of the town, night life, Train Station, Port of Bari, taxi stop for Airport, all is near our apartments.

Spacious and very comfortable apartment (Balilla) on the first floor, quiet, elegant furniture and equipped with all comforts. Strategic location to visit Bari Vecchia (and more). Bathroom with soft thick sponge towels (like at home), rich breakfast to be prepared independently with juices, milk, yogurt, single-serve jams, tea or coffee with a Nespresso machine, accompanied by a brioche or krapfen and a pastry (a pasticciotto) per person that the owner will provide in the morning in a special box next to the entrance door. For parking, you can use the Saba parking lot 800m away at 8€/day if you book online or the Park&Ride of the municipality at just over 1€/day, with shuttle service A.

Perfect location to discover Bari Vecchia. The accommodation is on the first floor of a typical old building in Barivecchia, completely restored. Extremely clean and carefully furnished with design, refined and minimalist. The small kitchen is equipped with everything. The very kind and professional Teresa welcomed us punctually anticipating all our requests. The red book found on the sideboard full of useful information is precious. Breakfast at the pastry shop Il mercantile does not disappoint.

Cozy and simple structure. Excellent location at the beginning of the historical center on the border with the muratiano one, fifteen minutes walk from the train and bus station. Mini apartment with kitchenette. Very characteristic, simple and welcoming. Attentive and welcoming hostess.
