Description

B&B "L'aranceto" is situated in the heart of Puglia in San Donaci, an ancient center between the city's Brindisi and Lecce. Both Brindisi and Lecce are reachable in little more than twenty minutes with the car.

The optimal position of San Donaci makes it also really easy to catch up the most beautiful spots of the Adriatic and Ionic seas and beaches, between which Porto Cesario.

The B&B villa has five comfortable bedrooms. There has been thought about all comfort (TV, DVD installation, air-conditioning, refrigerator, safe deposit box, blowdryer), three bathrooms and two kitchens. There is also a living room which contains a Hi-Fi system and a collection of beyond 300 CD's; a lunchroom with fireplace; a big veranda with a lemon-, and orange tree garden.

It is possible to rent the whole villa, or just some rooms. Our hosts have all the information about the nearlying villages, the events, the concerts, the touristic festivals, the knowledge of the streets and the touristic guides in possession.

B&B "L'aranceto" is the ideal place for a vacation to discover the beauty of the south of Italy, the landscapes, the cultural and culinary traditions and peculiarities.

This year my boyfriend and I decided to spend our holidays in Puglia. We were looking for a quiet yet convenient place to reach various destinations in Salento. L'Aranceto in San Donaci is exactly what we were looking for! B&B of excellent level managed with care and dedication by Francesco. Very friendly and welcoming person, available to provide information, recommend attractions to visit and make the stay comfortable. Spacious room with a personal bathroom with shower. Italian breakfast included in the bar nearby on the main street. Perfect, beautiful, clean room, rearranged every day by Mrs. Filomena. The room is equipped with air conditioning, mini fridge, and television. A small terrace for hanging out. Free Wi-Fi connection. We recommend everyone to stay at this B&B because it is in an excellent location (in a few km you can reach both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts) with a warm and family-friendly atmosphere and a professional and efficient management. Convenient to services... In short, B&B L'Aranceto is like being at home! There is a relaxing atmosphere, especially on the large covered terrace, where there is a table for dining. We stayed for 13 days but we would have stayed longer. We were very satisfied and we thank again for the welcome and courtesy shown to us.

I am very bitter. Negative experience that I will never repeat and will not recommend to friends or relatives. Arrived at the address, the person is courteous and friendly. We talk about the price that goes from €20 to 30 per night. When I ask why this price, I am told that " and you know, we are in high season! " I am shocked, I widen my eyes and take out the debit card... " oh no sorry we don't have the pos"... I start to huff and the guy understands, he reluctantly offers me a discount. I thank and pay in full. He explains about the use of the air conditioning that should be turned off every time you leave the room. I must say that the room, once opened, was hotter than a wood-fired oven. Morning comes and I head to the kitchen for breakfast (which was included according to the owner). In the dining room there is no sign of toast, nor of dry bread slices, nor of jam, nor anything at all. Just 2 machines with hot drinks (milk, tea, coffee... ) and one with water and snacks. I closed my eyes, sighed, and went out to have breakfast in a bar. The location deserves it, friendliness is at home, but perhaps the organization should be reviewed to make the stay top-notch. And then you could even ask for 50 euros per night, but for my experience, even 20 euros would have been too much. I'm sorry, but I have already canceled this B&B... and maybe it's better to spend 50 euros in the SEA... SEA...

This bed and breakfast is perfect for visiting the beautiful region of Salento. The host is very kind and welcoming, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but well furnished. I highly recommend this B&B! Pauline.

We had a great time. Mr. Francesco was very kind and the room was spacious and clean, considering we were probably the last guests. All the amenities are available in the room: fridge, TV, air conditioner, safe, and in the entertainment room the beverage and coffee dispensers, in addition to internet connection. The breakfast was abundant: croissants, milk, jams, juices, etc. I would come back without hesitation.

Great place to stay with our four-legged friends. Francesco is very helpful. Abundant breakfast. The rooms are spacious and bright with a private bathroom. It is located in a very quiet part of the village. I recommend it.

I am a regular customer of B&B L'Aranceto. Every time I go down to Salento for work, my obligatory stop is with them. The stay is always very pleasant. Francesco, the owner, is always very welcoming, helpful, and kind. The B&B is in a strategic location to visit both Lecce and Brindisi; although it is in the center of the village, it is surrounded by nature and in silence. The rooms have everything you need, they are very clean, cool in the summer and warm in the winter, all equipped with inverter air conditioners. You sleep divinely. I can't wait to go down to Salento, where I will definitely stay again at L'Aranceto, as has been the case for years now. A big hello to Francesco, see you soon.

Nice place with all comforts. The management is excellent, with friendliness and availability from the owners. What else can I say? In the summer, with just 10 minutes by car, you can reach the beautiful sea of Torre Lapillo or Porto Cesareo. Bye and thank you for everything.
