Description
The Rose of the Winds is a welcoming structure located in the heart of San Giovanni Rotondo, the town where Padre Pio rests, in a convenient and easily accessible location. It was born to offer you a peaceful and tranquil stay.

Since 1997, The Rose of the Winds has been pleased to welcome you to its facility, offering you the experience and courtesy acquired over the years.

We will be happy to give you suggestions on schedules and visits to the Sanctuary and beyond, also recommending other excursions that you can take during your stay in Gargano.

The Rose of the Winds is a valid alternative to large hotels, ideal for small groups and families.

The rooms are independent, each with private facilities, complete with a shower, color TV, free wifi, and a balcony. Outside the rooms, there is a refrigerator available for guests to use.

For our guests, there is a large private and free parking lot.

This is my family and I'm Antonella, that for 25 years I manage "la rosa dei venti" with passion and enthusiasm, taking care of the structure and making our guests feel right at home.

Sometimes to help me out, when not at work in Convent, there is my husband Alessandro, who together put ourselves at the disposal of our guests to give all the information on places to visit in our beautiful Gargano; without forgetting our recommendations on restaurants and pizzerias in the area.. and beyond.

We will be happy to have you as our guests to "la rosa dei venti".

La Rosa dei Venti is in Via Perugino, 9/c (also entrance on Corso Roma, 106), 100 m from Europa Square and 1500 meters from the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where it rests St. Pio of Pietrelcina. Also close to Wax Museum (300 meters).

In the central area it is well served by public transport.

There are restaurants, such as "Chiazza Ranna" and "Taverna dei Pirgiani by Phil and Max"; and pizzerias as "Strike" in the immediate vicinity.

The evening walk is 200 meters from us.

Lovely, very clean and super cozy B&B, just a stone's throw from the center with a supermarket next door. Very tidy and clean rooms, fragrant sheets, excellent pillows and beds. Clean bathroom with all the accessories available. What can I say about the owners (Alessandro and Antonella), two genuine, friendly, helpful, super welcoming and family-like people. We had a great time as if we were at our own home, thank you very much!

I start by assuming that the b&b La Rosa dei Venti is really lovely, very clean, welcoming, with fragrant sheets, a very clean bathroom where everything is provided, air conditioning, comfortable beds and excellent pillows. Available next to the room door, there is a refrigerator to store various drinks. There is also a TV. But above all, the staff (Antonella and Alessandro) are truly kind, genuine, and welcoming people, made available to us. Truly very friendly and affectionate people. Thank you very much!

I booked La Rosa dei Venti relying on the photos and reviews, as for its low price there is always the risk of finding a dirty room, rude staff, and no welcome, but I can guarantee you that this is absolutely not the case, on the contrary. We booked by phone, and we could already feel how affable and reliable Mrs. Antonella was. We contacted each other several times to ensure the booking, until we arrived in San Giovanni Rotondo, where, in the parallel street of the B&B, Mrs. Antonella's husband, Alessandro, came to pick us up and guide us; also very kind and friendly. Once we arrived at the B&B, we were also greeted by Mrs. Antonella, in a particularly kind and familiar way. In the B&B, cleanliness and fragrance are immediately noticeable. Indeed, the rooms were PERFECT. Clean, cozy, both with a window, one with a balcony. The bathroom was clean and with every comfort, various soaps, and complete towels. Despite being located in a main street very close to the center, it is very quiet. Inside each room, there is a small TV that captures all channels. Unfortunately, we could only stay for two nights, but when I return to San Giovanni, I will definitely stay with them again. Choose La Rosa Dei Venti and you won't go wrong.

I highly recommend this excellently managed property. The rooms and bathroom are spacious and very clean. In the corridor, there is a fridge to store any drinks. Guests are greeted by the owner who is very kind as well as his wife. They also provided us with information and a useful map for visiting the sanctuary. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We chose La Rosa dei Venti for the various positive reviews we had read, all confirmed! First of all, Mr. Alessandro is a very kind and friendly person, always available for any information you may need, clean and welcoming structure, large private parking inside accessible from two sides with automatic gate, the structure is located in the center and once you have parked your car you will not feel the need to use it because you will have everything available within walking distance. What more can I say, next time we will definitely return to La Rosa dei Venti, excellent value for money!

Abbiamo pernottato lì per 2 notti e ci siamo trovati veramente bene; le stanze erano molto pulite. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e molto giovanili, ci hanno consigliato cosa vedere e come arrivarci in maniera scrupolosa. Il B&B è abbastanza vicino dal centro dove si puo fare una passeggiata a piedi e anche la sera è molto tranquillo. Spero di ritornarci a presto.
