The Bed & Breakfast La Muraglia is an ancient independent building of two floors and balconies. It is composed of 4 mini apartments boasting private bathroom, autonomous heating, air-conditioning, wi-fi, and satellite television.

The terrace is equipped with sun loungers and parasols to encourage you to relax and enjoy yourself and being 100 mt from the sea, gives you an amazing view.

La Muraglia B&B is situated in the most ancient district of the city, on the boundaries of its surrounding external wall in the ancient suburb of LA MURAGLIA.

Walking along the small alleys of the old city it will not be difficult to be filled with different and nice feelings that only the inhabitants of the old city succeed in giving you.

Every single part of the ancient suburb has history, tradition, and legend. Every part of Old Bari is worth discovering - the numerous churches and buildings erected from the medieval ages to the eighteenth century, with its maximum concentration of historical articles that have documented the history of the city through the centuries.

Located in a restored stone building with sea-view terrace, La Muraglia is 50 metres from Bari's seafront promenade, 200 metres from the harbour, and 250 metres from the Basilica of Saint Nicholas. The air-conditioned apartments are complete with a balcony. Decorated in a Mediterranean style, apartments at the Muraglia come with an LCD TV, a private bathroom with free toiletries, and a kitchen available for making breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is available at reception, where free maps are also provided. All accommodation is complete with a kettle with free tea and coffee, and all the items for a self-service breakfast. The units are cleaned daily.

We stayed in this facility for 4 days and had a great time. The B&B is located in an enviable position on the wall in front of Santa Scolastica. Upon our arrival, the hosts had everything ready for breakfast and every morning, Mrs. Marianna brought us fresh croissants. Our studio was large, comfortable, and clean, and there was everything needed for cooking. The hosts recommended places to dine and were very welcoming and kind. We found our home in Bari. Highly recommended B&B.

Hi Sandrine, thanks for your review! We're really happy you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the position and the cleaning of the studio. We would like just to point out that we've written on our welcome letter (as you've agreed to a self check in) that you have to come at reception area to get your fresh Italian croissants when you are accommodated in our Ander apartment (indipendent studio at ground floor). About the low water pressure in the shower, we've checked out as soon as you told us but it was ok on our side, maybe it was related to a temporary issue with the municipal acqueduct. We have no private parking at our accommodation as almost every accommodation in Bari old town, and anyway during the Patron's celebration the entire area is interdicted to traffic as we told you when you informed us that you planned to arrive by car. You told us your daughter knew a bit about parking spaces: otherwise we would have suggested a closer and cheaper parking lot, as we always do with our guests. Best regards Andrea and Marianna.

As my first stay in Italy, I couldn't have made a better choice (Ander room)! The bed and breakfast is located in a neighborhood that is not only historic but also very friendly and close to everything, even though you feel like you're in a bubble. Tranquility is assured, cleanliness of the place, exquisite croissants every morning (not to mention water bottles, yogurt, cereals, and more) and charming hosts who know their neighborhood and the shops around very well. Everything is done to make the occupants' lives easier, with respect and discretion. I highly recommend it!

Simply outstanding, everything you want from a holiday you will get here. Helpful and friendly hosts, location, comfort, it’s all at La Muraglia B&B. Set in the heart of the old town and close to the promenade, perfect place to explore and in Marianna’s own words, when asked about places to visit in the old town, her response was ''go and get lost''... how right she was... so relaxed, locals/families sitting along the Lungomare every night, one hand gesticulating as they speak, the other with a cool bottle of Peroni and the Adriatic in the background... Tip - take in the walking tour and jump on a train to Alberobello and Polignano Al Mare!

The hosts could not be nicer and the location is right in the historic district. My apartment is on the ground floor and only has one window so it is somewhat dark. I would recommend asking for one of the apartments on a higher floor which are more pleasant and airy.

We adored this little bed and breakfast. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. Both of our hosts were easy to contact and very friendly. A spectacular location, right on the sea, in the charming old city. I cannot say enough about Marianna and Andrea, they were so helpful and made me feel so welcome. They were terrific, contacting me in advance to check when I would be arriving, and Andrea met me in the nearby square because the taxi could not drive down the B&B street. The Lean apartment is very spacious, with generous food provisions, excellently equipped to self cater- the best of my month long stay in Puglia. It is decorated in a nautical simple style, with feature old tile flooring, and is very comfortable. Dormer doors, one set on either side of the apartment, give you the sea view, and the old city view- really lovely. A bright fresh well equiped bathroom. The rooftop patio is fabulous, would be wonderful on a warm day or evening. La Muraglia was the perfect place to spend my last night of my month long adventure in Puglia.\n\nA word of caution about getting there, the taxi driver (from train station) had trouble locating it even after showing it to him on google maps, and giving him the correct address and showing him it was right next to the Museo Archeologico De schoastica! Some issues with fare, there is a set fee, ask Andrea or Marianna in advance.

Great location, in the center. Some difficulty in finding it. Very welcoming and attentive owner. Particular room on two floors: under the bed space, spiral staircase to reach an unusual, very nice bathroom. If we return to Ostuni, it will be with them. Thank you.
