Nestled in the Salento countryside, just minutes away from the crystal-clear waters of Gallipoli and Lido Conchiglie, Masseria La Maestà is a luxurious historical residence dating back to 1511, meticulously restored while preserving its original architecture. The interiors maintain the charm of the ancient Salento farmhouses, enhanced by modern comforts and exquisite details that make it an exclusive retreat.

The estate spans approximately 10 hectares, featuring vast green spaces, olive groves, vineyards, and a three-hectare garden adorned with around 300 fruit trees, some of which are ancient and rare. Guests can enjoy leisurely walks along tree-lined paths, relax in gazebos, or savor local products during outdoor breakfasts and dinners. Wine and olive oil are produced on-site using traditional methods: the famous DOC Alezio rosé and the DOP extra virgin olive oil made from hand-picked olives.

The apartments, furnished with antique family pieces, offer both privacy and charm. The suite "Il Palmento," with star vaults and stone floors, accommodates up to four guests in a spacious 55 square meter open space. The Grand Suite "Torre delle Monache," overlooking the private chapel, is located in the oldest part of the masseria and offers an intimate atmosphere with historic fireplaces and a terrace that opens towards the sea. The "Reale" Apartment, measuring 250 square meters, is a prestigious residence featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and spacious living areas, perfect for families or small groups.

Each accommodation is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen, complete linens, heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. The property warmly welcomes pets, respecting the tranquility of other guests.

Breakfast

In our farmhouse, we do not serve breakfast, but our guests enjoy picking fruits and vegetables and tasting the products from our farm. Each room is equipped with a kitchen where we provide coffee, tea, and various herbal infusions. It is also a pleasure to share with our guests the products made from our harvests, such as oil, wine, and our jams made from our fruits without preservatives, which enhance our desserts enriched with almonds and nuts from the estate. A unique delicacy is our "zero kilometer" honey.

I have restored my Masseria which has been in my family for 10 generations to share it with my guests, leaving the workplaces and the manor house unchanged, in the first place sharing my history and nature with the 300 trees of different fruits, even rare, the olive grove and the vineyards, with our guests: AgriCultura!
