Description

The atmosphere is truly that of a family-run B&B. Surrounded by olive trees, barely a stone’s throw from sandy beaches, and a couple of hundred metres from the historic city centre of Gallipoli, you can pass the time completely relaxed yet within comfortable distance of everything that our city can offer.

Here at the Bed and Breakfast Santa Venardia you can choose to stay in a room with an independent entrance which comes with air conditioning and central heating, refrigerator, television and a bathroom with shower or bathtub. Otherwise you can partake of the comfort of an apartment with attached kitchen, bathroom, veranda and garden.

In the summer you can have breakfast in the garden. In the winter it is taken on the veranda.

The estate is discretely and securely fenced and has parking spaces for cars. It is possible to bring pets provided advance notice is supplied.

Excellent stay with a perfect location for going to the beach. Away from the center and the noise. We slept like babies. Everything was magnificent. I recommend that everyone come here.

I stayed at this B&B from August 12th to 19th. The structure is very beautiful, with a rustic style, very intimate since there are only 4/5 rooms and, not to be overlooked, in a very quiet area just a few km away (about 2) from the sea. Excellent welcome and the two owners were very kind and hospitable to us. Excellent breakfast, simple but quite abundant especially with the delicious cakes prepared by Loredana, the owner of the structure. I didn't use the pool but there is a small jacuzzi. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant stay at the B&B Santa Venardia. We really appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from the whole family! (Only one regret... not speaking Italian to be able to chat more!) The bed and breakfast is surrounded by greenery. We stayed in a spacious triple room, equipped with an independent entrance and direct access to the garden. We were pleasantly surprised by: the attention to detail (the room was equipped with every useful accessory... just like at home!), the thorough cleanliness, and the breakfast, which was not only abundant but also genuine, with excellent homemade cakes and jams; last but not least, the courtesy and availability of the hosts. Absolutely a must!

Tranquil oasis among olive and fruit trees. Excellent cleanliness and biweekly change of linen. A special thanks to Loredana who delighted us with her jams and tasty cakes every day, different for a full 15 days. Thank you also Giuseppe for the tips on where to eat well and the suggestions on the most beautiful itineraries. Both of you are friendly. My wife and I stayed only one night at this property because we were touring Salento but we promised ourselves to come back and stay for at least a week here in Santa Venardia, the B&B is very nice very close to the center of Gallipoli and the beaches of Baia Verde and from here it is really convenient if you want to travel by car to visit all the locations of Salento. Thanks to Loredana and Giuseppe for their hospitality and courtesy.

We found this B&B by chance on TripAdvisor. We really enjoyed our stay, the owners Giuseppe and Loredana couldn't have been more gracious. Our room was the right size but, most importantly, was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. The B&B is located within a farm surrounded by olive trees that gives a feeling of peace and privacy. Every morning, breakfast offered a new delicious and traditional homemade pie from Salento. The location is also fantastic, a few minutes' drive from the bustling Gallipoli with truly delicious restaurants (Giuseppe will map them out for you) and a few minutes from the beaches of Baia Verde and Lido San Giovanni. While visiting, we explored several other beaches along the coast, from Punta Prosciutto to Torre San Giovanni, and I must say that in Baia Verde, we found the truly crystalline water that we fell in love with (Loredana had warned us about this). We highly recommend this B&B.

I stayed at this B&B Santa Venardia for thirteen days with my partner, what can I say? Let's start with the hosts: Giuseppe and Loredana, special people both for kindness and availability and for professionalism, always ready to advise you for the best. We had a really good time, pampered and relaxed, they made us feel comfortable from the beginning as true hosts. The location is very nice and especially in a strategic point, convenient to the most beautiful places in Salento. I highly recommend this B&B to everyone and of course I hope to return as soon as possible.
