The moon in the courtyard is a house among the doors, a nest on the walls. In the historic center of Lecce, 250 meters from the Cathedral, our house was born to give shape, colors, sounds, and flavors to typical Mediterranean hospitality. Star and barrel vaults, Lecce stone, details that speak of a rediscovered past in a contemporary key: it is a place where you can stay, share convivial moments, while preserving an authentic Salento.
The moon in the courtyard, centrally located between Porta Napoli and Porta Rudiae, in the heart of the capital of Salento, is situated on the ancient city walls, of which its interiors still preserve details and charm. It consists of four spacious rooms (all with private bathrooms), a living room, a kitchen, and a courtyard. The house has a double entrance: via Scarambone for easy access to the historic center, via Adua for convenient parking on a road exempt from the restricted traffic area (ZTL).

Antonella (the owner) is fantastic: she personally takes care every morning of preparing breakfast for her customers and serving it at the tables in the inner courtyard; she enjoys chatting and always provides useful advice on places to visit. The choice in the morning is really wide: there is both for those who prefer salty and for those who love sweet, from packaged products to artisanal ones and also plenty of fruit. The structure is very well cared for and perfectly consistent with the Leccese stylistic context. The furnishings are very welcoming: they are fresh and not overly modern, and for this reason, they will make you feel at home. For those arriving by car, no need to worry about parking! If you're lucky, you can even find a spot in front of the entrance gate, although unfortunately it's at a charge.
