During the summer period (June- August) on weekends (Friday and Saturday) and holidays, we cannot guarantee quietness before 2: 00 am due to the opening of a beach club below.

La Bella Trani was established in the summer of 2014. Located in a unique and strategic position, facing a delightful sandy cove, on the peninsula of Capo Colonna, in the shade of the famous Monastery of Santa Maria di Colonna. The center of the city of Trani with its main attractions is only 2 km away, but it is easily reachable with a comfortable panoramic walk or bike ride along the cycle path on the Lungomare.

La Bella Trani welcomes its guests in a modern, young, and dynamic environment, suitable for those who are in Trani for tourism or business. A spacious veranda, with a fascinating sea view, welcomes guests from the early hours of the day to enjoy a rich buffet breakfast. We mainly serve a continental breakfast based on tea, herbal teas, milk coffee, cappuccino, coffee (espresso/decaffeinated/ginseng/American), hot chocolate, fruit juices, and yogurt, cereals, accompanied by croissants, local bread, butter, Nutella, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade cakes, and jams. We also prepare an international breakfast enriched with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, and toast.

The property boasts direct access to the sandy beach below and has a restaurant on the panoramic terrace.

Our 3 rooms are all located on the ground floor and are furnished in a modern style with every type of comfort to make your stay pleasant. They are distinguished into 2 different types: Deluxe Room and Superior Suite.

We serve continental breakfast mainly, based on tea (Lipton and Twinings), milk, cappuccino, espresso, coffee (decaffeinated / American / barley) hot chocolate, accompanied by brioche, bread, butter, nutella, and marmalades. And also fruit juices, yogurt and seasonal fruit.

We serve on the request American breakfast or English breakfast, enriched with eggs, bacon, ham and buttered toast.

Alessandro, the owner, is a superb host. He looked after us very well. Our room was very comfortable. La Bella Trani is very close to the beach. There are some good bars and restaurants within walking distance. The main town is about 25 minutes walk away, but less than 10 minutes by the courtesy bikes that are provided.

Very nice ground floor room directly by the sea with access to the beach. Private parking. We received two sunbeds for free after the beach had already been cleaned. The breakfast was very good. You can have breakfast on the terrace. Thank you very much for the friendly care!

Directly near the beach and with a wonderful view from the terrace area of the beach bar; the harbor area of Trani is about a 20-minute walk away or quickly reachable by rental bikes. Extremely nice landlords, breakfast was prepared according to individual wishes, sweet and/or savory. The room is adequately sized and very clean. Sunbeds for the beach and also bicycles were provided free of charge. The stay at the accommodation was very enjoyable. Ideal in the off-season, as it is very quiet then.

Bella Trani is a dreamy B&B with a perfect location right on the beach, parking and a bar at the door, and only 2 km from the city center of Trani. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We would love to come back.

The "Ting Tong Beach Club" bar directly in front of the room shocked us, as it is not mentioned anywhere, not even by the B&B operators, the noise is extremely disturbing and privacy is not guaranteed at all, as it is publicly accessible and from the promenade. The bathtub in the middle of the room is unusual, the bathroom with few storage options is sparsely furnished, there is no safe in the room, no wardrobe, a window next to the entrance door that also opens to the Beach Club, breakfast is prepared on order - there is no buffet, no choice in sight. Bicycles are available sporadically, parking is available at the house, the location is sensational in principle, only 2 out of the original 5 rooms are still available, as the B&B operators seem to want to focus more on catering than on accommodating overnight guests. There is a terrace between "our" and the second room's terrace used by the kitchen staff for smoke breaks - for those who enjoy sitting in cigarette smoke. We mutually agreed with Alessandro, one of the operators, to shorten our stay and also paid for the two nights. Why he cancelled our reservation in the portal with the addition of "NO SHOW" is incomprehensible to me. Consequently, it is also not understandable why the full amount is still listed as outstanding.

We got the date wrong when making the reservation and arrived in Trani on a national holiday, the town was full and the hotel had no available rooms. However, Anna found us alternative accommodation, helped us find a parking spot, and did much more than we could ask for to fix our mistake. One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I definitely recommend Bella Trani, which is in a great location and especially for its staff. Special mention to Anna who was super efficient and lovely, beyond expectations.

We stayed 2 nights in early October 2023 and only regretted that we couldn't stay longer. Alessandro and Ana were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They shared their bicycles and went out of their way to help my husband find his glasses in town. The room was lovely and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was a real treat. Many thanks to Ale and Ana... we hope to visit again sometime.

We stayed in an apartment on the second floor, on the seafront of Trani. The house was very spacious, with everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, with a huge terrace and a beautiful view. It was also very breezy. Everything was perfect.

The B&B has a lovely location, on a small peninsula, so surrounded by the sea. The property is equally impressive: the common areas are very well-kept and there is plenty of greenery, it has internal parking, there is a wonderful terrace from which you can enjoy a unique view, for the exclusive use of B&B guests, but also for external guests. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, with every comfort: in ours, with four beds, there was space available for everyone, with many support points, shelves, and small tables that are useful when traveling with family. The colorful lights are very pretty, the beds very comfortable and, despite the proximity of many venues, the room is perfectly soundproofed. The beach is just a step away, really, open the gate and you're there! The owners are very kind, they gave us an umbrella and beach chairs (there are also bicycles) and helped us with a minor health issue, making themselves available, despite the late hour. Breakfast is not a buffet for hygiene reasons, but you can ask for anything (homemade jams are excellent). Finally, no problem with our dog! Thank you, we had a very enjoyable weekend.

I agree with all the other comments about the welcome, kindness, and availability of the owners, nothing to complain about, it's just perfect. However, if you are looking for a completely quiet place without noise, this is not it. The rooms have no soundproofing. Noise from the other rooms. A restaurant full every night on one side and a beach bar on the other with the corresponding music playing very late at night.

Friendly and informative owner and girlfriend. Great restaurant recommendations. Car park within grounds near to room, so easy for parking and loading/unloading. Next to beach. Great in summer/good weather, as owner provides sunbeds and umbrella and even carries them to beach and digs in the umbrella. Sunbeds / chairs etc on roof terrace with great view.\n\n2 kilometers from town but lovely walk along promenade.\n\nFriendly and casual atmosphere. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others and would stay here again.

Located in an optimal position, on the beach, you can enjoy a fantastic view. The staff and hospitality are delightful, just like Luigi's super breakfast. It feels like being with family!
