Description

A burst of colour in the heart of Salento.

Located in the historic city centre of Galatina, a few steps away from Piazza San Pietro and the main city monuments, the building made from Lecce stone is part of the ancient city walls dating back to the second half of 1800 and features a ground and a first floor. The guest house has been recently renovated respecting the original structure and the architectonic tradition of the Salento region with particular attention to details where colour, with all its shades and contrasts carefully blended, plays the leading role. Our double rooms and suites are all equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, LED TV, wireless internet access, minibar and a wide balcony. They all have been furnished with sobriety and great attention to detail in a well-balanced shabby chic style.

The historic building has been renovated with wisdom and elegance, it is located in a quiet street but in a very central position, just steps away from St. Peter's Square, the cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. The manager is an exquisite person, a true queen of the house: kind, welcoming, attentive to satisfy the customer's needs and discreet. She provided us with many historical-artistic insights to visit Galatina and Salento, as well as practical advice on how to move around and where to eat. Absolutely recommended! It was a beautiful Easter holiday in Galatina.

Staying in a beautiful historic building expertly restored, giving new life and value to each antique piece of furniture, in a strategic location where you can easily reach every service on foot, and being assisted by Maria Regina, splendid, accommodating, available, familiar, always ready to give advice to further enhance the vacation, is the best choice we could make. Excellent facility. Despite being in a central area (in the historic center a stone's throw from bars and churches of remarkable artistic interest), it is very easy to find parking. The owner is welcoming and extremely helpful in accommodating our requests. Highly recommended.

The Kaleidos Guest House is located in a strategic area of Galatina: immersed in the historic center, a stone's throw from all the main attractions, bars, and typical restaurants. The room is very spacious, above the usual standards, equipped with every comfort including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a minibar. Common areas and room are very clean. Maria Regina was super helpful and kind, ready to meet all our needs. Highly recommended for a holiday in the inland or by the sea.

We had a wonderful experience taking advantage of the B&B Day 2020 offer. The host was kind and helpful. The facility is equipped with every comfort, the only downside was the evening noises. I recommend it.

We stayed for two nights and immediately felt at home. Cozy place, very clean and close to the historic center. Maria Regina was very kind and pointed out the places to visit in the surroundings. I highly recommend it to all those who want to visit our beautiful Salento.

Last minute solution for my trip to Galatina that would have otherwise been a disaster! Extremely kind and super helpful owner, as well as friendly, I contacted her several times to update her on my arrival time, since one of the trains was late. Spacious room, complete with every comfort. Tea and coffee service excellent, especially the soluble ginseng, which I adore. Located in the historic center, a few minutes from Galatina station. Highly recommended, especially considering the amenities (even the balcony, so no problems for smokers). Unfortunately, I did not have breakfast, as I had to leave early. If you are in Galatina, stay here.

We are a couple in our thirties and we stayed at the B&B for 9 days and we had a great time. The structure is brand new and very well finished. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is impeccable: we immediately felt at home. Maria Regina, the owner, was kind and helpful right from the start, both regarding our stay and in recommending beaches, cities to visit, festivals, and also where to buy local products. The advantages of Galatina are being halfway between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, a very beautiful city to visit. Moreover, the B&B's location is just a stone's throw from the center, very close to many bars and historical-artistic places of interest. Definitely recommended.

Located in the historic center of Galatina, a charming town in the center of Salento and an excellent base for visits and excursions, equidistant from the Adriatic coast and the Ionian coast, Kaleidos Guest House has been created from a recent renovation of a historic building. The spaces created are all very comfortable, well-kept in detail, and finely furnished. Excellent breakfast often enriched with homemade cakes. The owner is a very kind and helpful person. We thank Maria Regina for her kindness and human warmth that have contributed to making our vacation very pleasant.
