Ionian Travel is a provider of Vacation Homes, B&Bs, and Residences in Gallipoli and the surrounding area, in Salento.
The Apartments are located near the wonderful beaches of Lido San Giovanni, Baia Verde, and Rivabella. They are the best solution for a vacation with full independence, for those who want to live free from constraints, schedules, and obligations.
The types of apartments, furnished in a practical and functional way according to the owners' tastes, are divided into:
- One-bedroom apartments: accommodating 2 to 4 people, consisting of a living room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom.
- Two-bedroom apartments: accommodating 4 to 6 people, consisting of a living room with a kitchenette and a single or double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a twin or triple bedroom with single or bunk beds, and bathroom facilities.
- Three-bedroom apartments/villas: accommodating 6 to 8 people, with different types including: a spacious kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a double bedroom, a bedroom with single or bunk beds, one or two bathrooms (the second one without a shower); or a living room with a kitchenette and a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, two bedrooms with 2 beds each, one or two bathrooms (the second one without a shower), and the possibility in some larger three-bedroom apartments to accommodate a 9th and 10th bed (to be requested at the time of booking).
Services: Reception office open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (for check-out) and from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (for check-in), all arrivals outside of these hours must be arranged in advance with the management. It is mandatory to provide a mobile phone number of the guests at the time of booking.
Beach: all apartments are located 100 to 400 meters away from both free and equipped beaches. Beach service is available upon request at the time of booking and includes a beach umbrella and 2 sunbeds at a partnered beach approximately 1,000 meters away.
Also available a few kilometers away from Gallipoli, an exclusive B&B: Villa Albertina.

Good structure that shows its age, Mr. Carmelo is a kind and helpful person with his staff. Convenient location to reach Tropea in less than 20 minutes, excellent restaurants just a few minutes away.

We stayed in a two-room apartment located in Via Gian Battista Vico. The apartment was missing the hairdryer, some kitchen accessories (e.g. potholders), a table on the outdoor terrace. Additionally, the broom was old and dirty and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable (it can be fine for one night, but not for a whole week).
