I fell in love with Salento over 40 years ago. I have spent so much time in this beautiful land, that I eventually decided - after having worked as an interpreter in English and French - to start this job, which allows me to personally take care of my guests. I prepare breakfast choosing from fresh products from local suppliers and making my own cakes and biscuits.

Area city center
Palmariggi, only 8 km from Otranto, is a jewel of the Salento countryside. Thanks to its ideal geographic position it’s a perfect starting point for visiting the main artistic and cultural attractions of the area: Lecce, Galatina, Otranto, Gallipoli. Palmariggi is also an ancient town that has kept the peace and character of the old days. It’s a “bubble in time” where one can rediscover a different pace of life and quality of human relationships. The heart of the town is a delightful square dominated by an imposing baroque church and the remains of an old castle. The quiet streets of the historic centre are dotted with mansions in Lecce stone.
For those who love cycling, a comfortable cycle track meanders in the surrounding countryside and there are many cycling routes in the area. However, for the more "well trained" bikers, the coastal road to Santa Maria di Leuca is an excurtion not to be missed for its beautiful landscapes. Il Palmento provides secure storage for your bikes.
Palmariggi is located on the via Francigena, with many trekking trails for you to enjoy.
