The Bed And Breakfast (30-40 mt by sea) is found to St. Pietro in Bevagna, a seaside resort that offers a clear sea, a pleasant climate and an earth rich in traditions and ancient tastes to its visitors. Area seaside

Our B&B is only 30-40 meters away from the sea that many compare to the Caribbean (and it's not a joke!). The B&B is located just a few dozen meters from the bar/tobacco shop/newsstand; 500 meters from the center, and about 200-300 meters from the supermarket where you can buy your lunch and enjoy it at our B&B without having to sit on a wall or on the beach under the scorching sun during the hottest hours. This also applies to dinner, if you want to eat pizza or something else.

Although the B&B is located by the sea, it's also nice to spend a few days in our house during the winter because the not-too-cold weather allows you to enjoy walks on the beach accompanied by the sound of waves breaking on the shore, a sound that only the winter sea can offer!

Moreover, the "Girasole" is an excellent starting point to visit Manduria with its numerous churches, the historic center, the archaeological park; the Baroque and churches of the city of Lecce; Taranto with its promenade, revolving bridge, castle; Grottaglie and ceramics; the Trulli of Alberobello, Oria with its medieval village and castle. In short, whether it's summer or winter, the bed and breakfast Il Girasole is ideal for your holidays!

N.B. Possibility to stay in an apartment on the 1st floor of the B&B.

I stayed for two weeks in mid-August at this family-run bed and breakfast, and for this reason, it was excellent in every way, from the abundant and varied breakfast where Mrs. Lucia allowed us to take away everything we couldn't eat due to the abundance, to the daily cleaning. We had a great time.

A few steps from the sea, the structure is very welcoming and well-kept. The owner is available. Breakfast fully satisfies the palate also because it is enriched with typical local products. The center can be reached with a pleasant walk.

Well-kept B&B, clean rooms, very close to the sea. Quiet place, steps away from the market. Parking space next to the B&B. The lady seemed a bit cold at first, but then she opened up. Politeness is not lacking. We will definitely come back.

The B&B Il Girasole is very nice, well-kept in detail and very clean. The owner, Mrs. Lucia, is always very helpful. At the entrance, there are always fruits, tea and other comfort items available to guests. The breakfast is excellent and abundant. The rooms are very clean and finely furnished. The location is great because in 5 minutes you are on the beach and in a 10-minute walk you are in the town center. The only small downside is the lack of Wi-Fi, which nowadays is unfortunately necessary. We will definitely return.

The structure seems to have been recently renovated and is nice and welcoming, with some artistic touches in the common areas that make it pleasantly outgoing. The rooms are well furnished and tidy, the internal services efficient and clean. The only flaw is the room doors that have not been modernized, but only artistically repainted and therefore are not at all insulating, letting every noise from the outside filter through, with the old latch locks difficult to insert the key without making noise, especially if it is done by children. The breakfast is not up to the standard of the structure, without a buffet, but on request. The frozen croissants to be cooked in the oven and filled "do it yourself" should be replaced with fresh bakery products, perhaps asking the customer in advance for their preferences to avoid the dreaded waste. In short, definitely to be improved both in choice and quality. We only saw the owner once throughout the week, only because we called her to pay for the stay. It wouldn't hurt if she were more present especially at breakfast, even just for some small talk, to make the customer feel more comfortable.

Great structure, well located, clean and well maintained. The Sunflower is the name of the structure. The owner is available for any request. Overall, an experience to be repeated, avoiding peak periods as the town becomes uninhabitable.

The structure is very beautiful and welcoming, taken care of in detail, just a stone's throw from the beach and the town center. Cleanliness and service are top-notch. The day always starts with a splendid abundant breakfast served on the veranda. Everything is managed by friendly and professional people.
