At 400 meters from the lovely beach of Santa Maria al Bagno and 2 km from the natural park of Porto Selvaggio (Nardò) you find the B&B Happy days Golfo di Gallipoli, modern and welcoming, able to offer a quiet and comfortable stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy: the Salento.

The strategic position of the B&B will allow you to easily reach the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian coast, such as Baia Verde, Punta della Suina, Punta Pizzo and the Maldives of Salento going down to Santa Maria di Leuca. Or the beautiful beaches of Porto Cesareo, Torre Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto to the north.

In ten minutes by car you will arrive in the wonderful Gallipoli. With its restaurants, coffee-bar, pubs and night clubs is the heart of Salento nightlife. Do not miss a visit to the beautiful historic centre of Nardò in Baroque style.

Filippo and his accomplished team have been running the Happy Days B&B for 20 years. Born in 2005 from his own vision—which quickly proved to be a winning and much-appreciated concept—the B&B has been enhanced over the years with new services and greater comfort in the rooms and throughout the entire property. Following the addition of the swimming pool and the completion of the garden, the room furnishings have been renewed, favouring the use of wood and the craftsmanship of local artisans. The Gazebo for breakfast, located in the garden near the pool, is also meticulously designed with comfort in mind.

This, in essence, is the hallmark of the management’s dedication over these wonderful 20 years in business.

The Happy Days B&B offers a holiday at the sea, in a place of rare beauty and of great artistic interest. Set in a quite suburban area of Santa Maria al Bagno is only 1 km far from Santa Caterina, whose beautiful pine forest shuts in the Gulf of Gallipoli. Swimming and snorkelling activities can easily be done both along the low rocky coast or the sandy beaches. Brindisi airport at 70kms. Lecce train station at 25 kms.

The B&B is very nice, very clean and has a very special charm. The location is great; it is not far from the city center and it is also not far from the region's most beautiful beaches and towns. The hosts and the staff are super friendly and nice. We really spent "happy days" here and can absolutely recommend this B&B.

Filippo, Paola and Valentina make you feel at home. Always available, present and not intrusive. They give excellent advice on what to visit and where to go based on the weather, events and your tastes. Excellent breakfast and cleaning, I believe the best I have found in many vacations. I care a lot about cleanliness and order, here we are really at the top. Well done, if we return to Puglia we will definitely stop by them.

We really enjoyed our stay and especially the very friendly host. The pool was a big plus during hot days. Balcony and air conditioning at the room and a small kitchenette made our stay very nice as we were travelling as a small family.

We did have a wonderful time at the Happy Days and a lot of gratitude goes out to the wonderful Valentina who did make us feel at home. She also did care for the happiness of our one year old son. The room was cozy and tidy, the pool was great, the (Italian) breakfast was always good and she even served self baked food. The only but tolerable points we could claim were the busy road at night, so we couldn't open the windows (but had AC) and the way back from town was a little ascent, but short. So all in all we definitely recommend the place!

We had an incredibly beautiful stay at the B&B Happy Days, especially enriched by the good soul of the house, Valentina, with her warm and charming manner and the delicacies she prepared. The accommodation was not only impressive for its cleanliness and sweet rooms but also for its very well-kept and beautiful outdoor area. Furthermore, contact with the host Filippo was extremely straightforward, and we received timely responses from him. A stay here is highly recommended! We give 12 out of 10 points.

Lovely stay in this beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful place. What did we like? Everything. From the courtesy, availability, and friendliness of the owner Filippo who made us feel immediately at home with his warm welcome, to the cute, clean, and well-kept room in every detail. Excellent breakfast from juices to coffee, from hot pasticciotti to frise, from jams to fruit. A special thanks to Valentina for her kindness and sweetness with the guests. The location of the property is excellent for enjoying the most beautiful Ionian beaches of the lower Salento. Definitely an experience to repeat.

We returned to this Bed and Breakfast after a few years and once again we were satisfied. Professionalism and courtesy are the masters of everything this delightful structure offers: from the daily cleaning of the rooms to the peaceful atmosphere that the lovely garden offers embellished by a very cute and welcoming gazebo where you can enjoy a pleasant breakfast in the morning. The structure is located in a strategic position just a few meters from the sea and not far from many wonderful places in Salento.
