I warmly recommend the GIS B&B. Our holiday was at the end of September and the beginning of October. We had originally planned a 7-day stay, but it was such a nice and pleasant place that we decided to extend it by 3 days. Guendalina is so adorable; she prepares a delicious breakfast every morning, served privately and always on time. She even surprised me with lovely pastries and did something special for my birthday. It is amazing to see how she wants you to feel at home on holiday. The spaces are clean, towels are changed every two days, and the private pool is a real added value when temperatures get high on sunny days. Leverano is not far from the coast and Lecce is a beautiful city. We discovered some delicious restaurants. Other one-day city visits are also doable by car. As written previously, if you are looking for the luxury of hotel service while still wanting the flexibility to arrange things as you prefer, Guendalina will accommodate you as best as she can.
