Description

Ll Bed and Breakfast Donna Rosa is situated in a central position between Otranto and the beaches of Alimini, adjacent to the Club Mediterranee, to few hundred meters from the famous one "the Turks' Bay" and of the inlet of Saint Stephen characterized by thin white sands and crystalline waters.

The B&B is dipped besides in the green of the country idruntina and you/he/she is characterized by the typical elements of our territory what walls to dry and secular ulivi.

The structure has bath deprived with playpen shower, refrigerator, conditioned air hot/cold, tv, independent entry and external porch with table, chairs and external showers also. To disposition of the clients an ample garden with gazebo, tables, benches and the parking lot auto.

To disposition of the guests also a room with angle cooking.

The distance from the city is of around 2, 5 kms, the sea is to 700 meters, attainable afoot crossing a street that crosses the forest of Saint Stephen.

And' the ideal place to spend his/her own vacations in the morè complete relax away from the city chaos.

Besides joints to Otranto you can surely taste the products typical of our earth or to decide to visit enchanting places what the lakes Alimini and the various runs excursions to them annexed.

We were kindly welcomed by Emanuela and her mother. Homely atmosphere. Emanuela always helpful. Abundant and excellent breakfast. Beautiful property close to stunning beaches. Our holiday was organized by bike to tour the Salento, so we found a safe place here to leave the bicycle inside the property. Luca and Anna.

The place is very beautiful and surrounded by greenery, close to the Baia dei Turchi beach, which can be easily reached on foot. If you want to have lunch or dinner out there are many agriturismi and restaurants easily reachable by car, a few minutes from the property. If you want to eat at home, there is a market nearby that can also be reached by the bikes provided by the property. The town of Otranto is also very close. I recommend it to those who love greenery, tranquility and crystal-clear sea. We had a great time and would go back immediately.

This was such a lovely experience! Everything was perfect: the property is huge (probably around 3000 m²), lots of old trees providing good shade, a beautiful garden and spacious parking (a nice exception in Italy). The mother-daughter team managing the B&B, the cats and the dog were all very attentive and made sure everyone felt welcome and at home. The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruits from the garden, homemade cakes and coffee you can't get enough of. The location is magnificent! You can walk a scenic path through the trees to the world-famous Baia dei Turchi; look it up, it's even more magical than in pictures! And the beauty of the old town of Otranto will leave you speechless. It has been included in the famous list of the most beautiful villages in Italy,'I Borghi più belli d'Italia', of which only 10% are on the coast. As a solo traveller, I very much appreciated not being charged the same price as if two people had stayed in the same room. Considering the astronomical value of this property, it was a real bargain! Definitely a keeper and something to recommend to friends and family.

It was a pleasant stay,the property is immersed in greenery and close to Baia dei Turchi beach,easily reachable by the bikes provided. Everything was excellent,from breakfast to cleanliness,the rooms very spacious and equipped with essential amenities.

Very quiet family-run B&B ideal for a relaxing holiday. Beaches are easily reachable on foot or by bicycle and not too far from the center of Otranto. Nearby there are various dining options. Excellent pastries prepared by Emanuela for breakfast.

Balanced quality/price. The bidet was broken and was promptly repaired. The location is a few kilometers from the center and in a quiet area. The beaches of Alimini and Baia dei Turchi are easily reachable. The latter can also be reached on foot, but I recommend the shuttle.

Emanuela and her mom are lovely people. They make you feel at home with a super welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is abundant and the homemade sweets are excellent. I highly recommend this structure.

We stayed in July 2022 and had a great time. Impeccable service, perfect bathroom and room cleanliness; very large and fresh room, quiet and peaceful area. Rich breakfast. Manuela and the family's friendliness and availability (family management of the property) are noteworthy. Optimal location to reach Baia dei Turchi (also with the bicycles provided by the property, which were convenient for us as a young couple). A car is necessary to reach the center of Otranto, which can be reached in 10 minutes with the possibility of parking for 5 euros per day. Supermarkets are 4 km away and also typical restaurants are less than 1 km away. We highly recommend it.

I gave high ratings to the establishment because from my first day to the last, I was welcomed by a wonderful family. I just want to say thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality, thank you for the good breakfasts and impeccable service. The structure is located in an enchanting place and easy to reach from the city of Otranto. Fantastic beaches are just a few steps away from the structure. I highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature.

Thanks to Emanuela and her family! They were wonderful! Beautiful place immersed in greenery, close to the most charming beaches and coves of Salento. It's also nice to go to the sea with the bikes provided, complete with seats for the little ones! Excellent breakfast.

Ideal location to visit the Bay of Turks and the Bay of Santo Stefano, the owner was very kind, gave us information and provided us with bikes! Courtesy and availability from the whole family. Comfortable rooms with front patio, convenient parking inside the property. All just a few km from Otranto. Recommended.
