Hey from Francesco

Member since February 2020 | 9,782 hits

Hello! I'm Francesco, and I've been managing my Bed and Breakfast since 2019. I started taking my first steps in the tourism sector in 2000. Being able to have direct contact with people of different countries is a pleasure, a new discovery every day, and one of the aspects of this most rewarding work. I have the privilege of being able to learn something more every day from you tourists.

My structure is based on three bases: cleanliness, relaxation and friendliness.

I wait for you in my beautiful Trani, in my beautiful Puglia.

Area city center

Donato Rooms is located in the city center, near all the sites of greatest cultural and tourist interest (Court, Cathedral, Swabian castle, churches, port, noble palaces, gardens, squares etc.).
The location of the Bed and Breakfast allows you to move easily without the need for means of transport: shops, railway station, beach facilities, pubs and restaurants are, in fact, all easily reachable on foot.
The city of Trani boasts during the year, especially in the summer, the organization of many events of cultural and artistic interest (concerts, exhibitions, festivals) that take place in the areas surrounding our structure.
Donato Rooms is the ideal solution also for young people, lovers of night life, who can easily "dive into the Trani nightlife".

What guests say

Guest reviews highlight the very central location of the property, making it easy to visit Trani’s main attractions, port, and railway station. Rooms are generally described as clean, spacious, and well-furnished. Many guests appreciate the warm and helpful approach of the host, who is often available and provides useful information. Check-in is sometimes managed remotely. Breakfast is typically served at a nearby café and is considered good, with a classic Italian style; some guests would have preferred a more abundant or in-house offering. While a few mention potential street noise due to the central setting, the overall value for money and convenience are strong points. The property is recommended for travelers seeking comfort, hospitality, and an optimal base to explore Trani.

B&B very well organized and very clean. The host is very nice and kind. The breakfast is perhaps a little lacking since it is served at a nearby bar. Overall, very happy.

The stay was pleasant. The property is nice and in an excellent location. The host was really very kind, although we would have liked to see and meet him in person rather than communicate only via WhatsApp. One note: the room is cleaned every two days and, especially in summer due to the heat when people shower more often, this is not ideal. Otherwise, we were fine.

Comfortable room equipped with the essentials. Spacious and clean bathroom. Very friendly and welcoming owner (welcome water and coffee). A bit inconvenient due to the distant parking and the steps to reach the floor.

The answer from the host:
Gent. Sig. Carnevale, la ringraziamo per la sua recensione. Ci rende sempre felici avere feedback dai nostri ospiti. Buona estate. Francesco

Conveniently located near the station and close to the town center. A bit noisy because of the nearby road and the breakfast at the bar was good, but from the description I expected it to be served abundantly and on-site.

Great value for money, the room was clean and welcoming. The only drawback was perhaps the mattress. It is on the street and you can hear noise especially on weekends. Breakfast near the property at the central bar was excellent.

I really enjoyed this bed & breakfast, just a 15-minute walk from the old town. The staff are very welcoming, very kind and above all very professional down to the smallest detail. I thank Antonella who made an exception by allowing an early check-in, which I greatly appreciated, and a big, big thank you to Titi who prepared the room early and welcomed me with a big smile, thank you very much. I really felt like family.

We stopped for only one night, but the welcome we received was excellent. The structure is in the historic center, in an excellent position, with parking available. Trani is a wonderful town, full of life and attractions, very well maintained, which makes it an ideal place to spend a vacation. We were just passing through, but it was a destination for us on a previous trip. The manager was very helpful, kind, and welcoming. We will keep this in mind for a possible future stay.

Beautiful, clean and spacious room in the center of Trani. The accommodation is within 5 minutes walk from the train station down a bustling street. The location couldn’t be more central. Short walk to the promenade and all the activities. Check-in and out process was very smooth. Bar Centrale staff were wonderful and the breakfast provided was typically Italian, with a croissant and a choice of coffee. Enjoyed the stay quite a lot and look forward to returning. Francesco has been a wonderful host, proactive and available at all times via WhatsApp. Don’t miss the chance to meet Francesco.

For the third time B&B disappoints us. It's truly a B without B, the owner informing us as soon as we arrive that we will have breakfast at the café located a few meters from the property. We could have water in a fridge and a coffee maker in a common area, accessible to all the travelers present. The rented room is set up in an old manor entrance. We are starting to question the quality of accommodations offered by B&B.

The answer from the host:
Cher Mr. Dimo, merci de nous avoir évalués. Il ne nous a pas donné une note conforme à notre moyenne et nous aimerions comprendre comment s'est passé son séjour, toute critique constructive est la bienvenue et nous devons améliorer nos services. Mais d'après ses propos, il semble que la formule b & b ne corresponde pas à ses besoins, et nous en sommes désolés, mais le type de vacances d'un b & b est certainement différent de celui d'un hôtel. B&B ideally located in the center of Trani, a 5-minute walk from the port and the historic center, the train station and a 10-minute walk from the beaches. Large stone room, very well furnished and decorated, with all the comforts (fridge, Italian-style bathroom, shared kitchen...). The owner Francesco is helpful and very welcoming; he can take you to/from Bari airport and recommend visits and places to go in Trani. Breakfast in a café near the b&b, very friendly service. Note: my room was on the ground floor, with a French door overlooking the street and high windows, while a room upstairs allows you to have a large window or a balcony, but it's a detail considering all the positive aspects of this b&b. Thank you Francesco!
