The Demetra Bed and Breakfast is an old farmhouse located in the heart of beautiful Puglia, surrounded by a sea of olive trees and immersed in the tranquility of the countryside, just a short distance from the sea.
The Demetra Bed and Breakfast is situated in the historic Malavera farmhouse, built in 1877 and recently renovated. Set in a charming landscape of centuries-old olive trees in the upper Salento area, in the Carovigno region, you can enjoy the peace and company of nature, with the various shades of green from the olive groves and citrus orchards, along with their irresistible scents.
The Demetra Bed and Breakfast is located just 500 meters from Carovigno, a city rich in history and traditions, famous for its ancient popular festival called Nzegna, which boasts a long tradition of flag-waving passed down from generation to generation.
The B&B has five rooms, including two doubles with the possibility of adding a cot and three twin or double rooms. Two of these rooms have been created from the old feeding trough and two from the old barn, preserving the typical stone star vaults that maintain the charm of the ancient rural dwellings, taking us back in time. Each room has a nature-inspired name and two of them also boast a private patio, allowing you to enjoy the open air and the wonderful surrounding nature. The rooms have independent entrances and offer all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay: heating, private bathroom, TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, refrigerator, and hairdryer.

Our B & B is located in the centre of Puglia and its beauties and you can easily reach several tourist destinations in a short time!

Good structure, quiet, access on a dirt road. The staff is almost absent except at arrival and departure, with a rather neutral attitude. The downside is that it was not possible to either have a coffee or have breakfast (even if included) in the structure, but it was necessary to go to an external bar affiliated in the village, which I did not do. When asked, the answer was "we cannot prepare a buffet for a few people". Okay, fair enough, but at least a pod coffee machine could have been present. This is what someone who usually spends 15 days a month in hotels, B&Bs, or Relais says. Anyway, it was okay.

Salve signor Moreno, noi siamo sempre presenti in struttura abitandoci ma lasciamo i clienti liberi di entrare ed uscire quando si vuole, ognuno ha la sua entrata esterna quindi ci si può incontrare a volte, ma se c'è bisogno basta bussarci. Per quanto riguarda la colazione non pensavamo ci fosse problema, altrimenti potevamo portarglielo anche in camera un caffè. A volte è capitato anche se raramente di far fare la colazione al bar e non c'è stato alcun problema. Ci scusiamo se per lei è stato un disagio.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast, very well-kept and maintained both for the rooms and the outdoor spaces: breakfast patio and garden with olive and palm trees. Antonio and Annastella, the managers, are very helpful and kind. Just outside the center, among ancient olive trees, and on the way to the beaches. We recommend it! We had a great time.

A warm greeting to Antonio and Annastella, available and friendly managers. We felt more than good, indeed we will return as soon as possible. There is no negative note. The B&B Demetra is located in an ancient farmhouse immersed in a beautiful and well-kept garden and surrounded by a large olive grove, recently renovated and adapted to the new use without betraying its simple original style. The tranquility is total, but the town of Carovigno is very close and in a few minutes by car you can reach the splendid beaches of the area. The rooms are beautiful and very well furnished, the bathrooms are modern and functional, the breakfasts are rich and varied, and the cleanliness is superb. Antonio and Annastella, friendly and sociable, offer exquisite hospitality and pay attention to every detail: my husband and I had a great time and would have happily extended the vacation, if only we could have.
