Description

Corte Fidele, is a typical B&B, made out of an old house with a courtyard, dating back to 1200.

It is located in the old centre of Ugento, an ancient village on the historical "Sallentina Road" at only a short distance from Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca and at 40 minutes from Lecce, the capital of the province, and Otranto.

The guests can stay in a traditional court house, where all the bedrooms with vaulted ceiling overlook the courtyard, and enjoy the tranquillity of old times.

The building, carefully renovated in every detail, preserves it's ancient livingspaces and the old atmosphere.

The smart and comfortable rooms, single and double, none of which are the same, are all furnished with care and equipped with all modern comforts (a spacious bathroom, air conditioning, tv).

A bed can be added in every bedroom.

Corte Fidele offers a breakfast with biological local products, served in the courtyard or in the cosy kitchen.

A magnificent discovery. The kindness of Marianna and Annalisa is worth the trip. We found ourselves in this Court from the 1200s, amazed and captivated by the beauty of the place. The rooms are super spacious and very characteristic; the breakfast served outside in front of this immense table (where you can take the opportunity to chat with other guests and also with the landladies always ready to make you discover the beauty of Salento by telling you anecdotes and places to visit) rich in homemade cakes and jams. In the evening before going back to your room they offer you their liqueurs, a gem to end the day. The location is excellent, it is a strategic point to visit various locations in Salento. Near Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli. What can I say, at Corte Fidele, you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of a family. Thank you Marianna, Annalisa, Gabriella, and Mario for making us feel at home despite the 1100 km that separated us from Brescia.

The only flaw was that we stayed too few days. Fantastic Corte Fidele located in a strategic point for a holiday in Salento. Unfortunately, we only stayed for 4 days but if we could go back we would book the entire stay here. Family atmosphere, unique kindness and hospitality. Marianna and Annalisa make you feel at home, host you and pamper you like family. Fantastic breakfast in Corte Fidele, a wide choice of homemade products, always ready to meet your needs. Characteristic and welcoming environments, allow you to share pleasant moments with other guests or have your own privacy if you prefer. Parking nearby. For any need or information, you will be helped by the owners, with their valuable advice you can't go wrong. We will definitely come back for a getaway that surely cannot disappoint!

When you book, you think you are going to a bed and breakfast, a nice bed and breakfast where you are the customer, one like many. But at Corte Fidele it's not like that, as soon as you cross that beautiful arch you understand that you are not a customer, you are a member of their family! I can't even find the right words to convey to other travelers how it feels with Marianna, Annalisa, Gabriella, and Mario. They are a fantastic family, with hearts of gold and unparalleled hospitality, they pamper you, make you feel at ease as if you were at home, they fill you with happiness with small gestures... Magical empathy! The Corte is magnificently preserved and cared for, the rooms are authentic and spotless, but what we really liked is the large table placed in the center of the Corte, a place of meeting, exchanging stories, and unique moments of sharing. The breakfast is exceptional, sweet and savory with a special mention to Marianna's delicious cakes. The farewell hug was not a goodbye, but just a nice see you soon until next time! My boyfriend and I stayed at this fantastic property for a few days. What can I say... Mrs. Marianna and her family are special people and always available. It's like being at home. Every morning the breakfast is plentiful as much as the affection and serenity that this fantastic place conveys. The cleanliness is impeccable! We got attached. I also recommend visiting the ceramics workshop next to the property and letting yourself be carried away by the tranquility of this place. Congratulations.

We spent a special vacation, one of those vacations that remain in the heart for a long time. Corte Fidele was our guardian, and Marianna, along with her wonderful family, welcomed and pampered us for an entire week. We can only regret the succulent dishes that Ann'Elisa prepared for us on various evenings, accompanied by the proverbial hospitality of Puglia. Thanks to all this, we were able to discover the soul of Salento, its small and precious inland villages like Ugento, its cliffs, its sandy dunes by the sea, its breathtaking sunsets, its cuisine, its scents, its landscapes full of mystery, and its traditions still very much alive. Marianna also invited us to a local pizzica evening, and we did not miss out on the olive harvesting from the family trees. Mario let us enter his world, among his olive groves, places from his childhood, and thus gave us a wonderful experience, how to say? A cherry on top of a beautiful cake. Thank you, our friends, and we look forward to seeing you in Tuscany.
