"Some have practiced hospitality, unknowingly welcoming angels" is the phrase we find in the Bible, and it is the motto that the owners of Casa Nonna Rosa have embraced for generations.
Since the early 1900s, some rooms in the house have been made available to travelers by the then-owner, Nonna Rosa, our ancestor. Despite having a large family, she would often rent out the two characteristic ground floor rooms with their typical star-shaped vaults of Salento architecture to more or less regular guests.
Today, after a complete renovation in 2012, this building has become much more versatile and welcoming. Each room has its own independent access, allowing us to rent the rooms separately or as small apartments with 2, 3, 4, or 5 rooms, depending on our guests' needs.
Every room is equipped with electric mosquito nets, and the windows have mosquito nets and thermal fixtures. Additionally, we have installed a water storage tank. With these measures, we hope to make our guests' stay as comfortable as possible. The property is also equipped with air conditioners.

Nearby, there are beautiful white sandy beaches (MALDIVE DEL SALENTO) as well as rocky coves such as the Ciolo, a charming natural fjord. Also characteristic is the port of Novaglie, both of which are two kilometers away from our facility.
Santa Maria di Leuca is about 4 kilometers away and is famous for its promenade where magnificent villas belonging to old landowners in the area can be seen. From Gagliano del Capo, following the coastal road, you can reach the beaches of San Gregorio, Torre Vado, Torre Pali, Marina di Salve, Torre Mozza, Pescoluse del Salento, Torre San Giovanni, Torre Suda, Ugento, Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo. Then, moving to the Adriatic side, you will find Marina di Novaglie, Tggiano, Marina Serra, Tricase, Marina di Andrano, Castro, Santa Cesarea Terme, Uggiano la Chiesa, Porto Badisco, Porto Selvaggio, Otranto.
