Description

My home is filled with wood and vibrant colors, cozy like a mountain cabin, warm and bright during winter, and gently cooled with water-based air conditioning in summer. Its location right in the heart of Bari makes it ideal for shopping, nightlife, theaters, and exploring the historic center. It is just a short walk from the monumental waterfront and the Pane e Pomodoro beach.

The living and dining areas are connected to the kitchen by a sliding door. The master bedroom can be left fully open to the living room or closed off with two sliding doors. A single bedroom and two bathrooms are accessed via a small hallway. There is also a bed in a nook in the living room (which can be used as a sofa during the day), allowing the apartment to accommodate up to four guests. The master bedroom also includes a crib suitable for a child up to four years old, increasing the maximum capacity to four adults plus one child. The main bathroom features a sink, toilet, bidet, and a spacious shower. The secondary bathroom is partially open to the main bathroom (the glass partition wall does not reach the ceiling) and contains a sink, toilet, bidet, laundry basin, and washing machine. The main balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs, while the kitchen balcony is equipped with a clothes drying rack.

The house is gas-free, with all kitchen appliances and heating systems powered by electricity: induction cooktops, electric oven, and electric heat pump heating.

Italian regulations on short-term/holiday rentals do not permit the provision of catering services, but the area is full of famous cafés where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. To name just a few of my favourites: Il Caffettaio, Pasticceria Mercantile and Martinucci. But don’t forget that you’ve got a kitchen, complete with a toaster, and a balcony with a small table and chairs: that’s how I have my breakfast!

Dear guest, I have a deep love for Bari and this home, but unfortunately, I often have to be away for work. Therefore, I thought of reducing its cost by sharing it with those who need temporary accommodation, whether for pleasure or necessity. I kindly ask you to respect and take good care of it. This house fully represents me, as it was designed to reflect my desires. Its mountain origins and love for real wood, the longing for the sea—especially the southern Italian coast: Gargano, the Amalfi Coast, Ischia, and the convenient beach of Monopoli. The handmade ceramics with vibrant colors, the stained glass. The relaxation and well-being of a day by the sea and the joy of celebrating special moments with friends. Long live life!

Area city center

The house is located in the commercial heart of the city: the Murat District. At the edges of this district are the main institutions, theaters, and the University. Just one block away is the Old Bari District, which features the main religious and secular monuments. The area is also the center of nightlife and is filled with restaurants and bars.

The apartment is within walking distance from Bari Centrale railway station. This station is also the arrival point for the metropolitan train and buses from the airport. Via Abate Gimma is accessible by car and offers paid public parking along the sidewalk (2 €/hour).

Public parking is often full during peak hours. A good alternative is to unload your luggage and then leave your car in one of the public "park and ride" lots, which are served by a shuttle to the city center. The most affordable option is near the Pane e Pomodoro beach (1 €/day). Near the house, there are some garages available with high hourly and daily rates. Taxi stands are located close to the Central Station and the Petruzzelli Theater.
