Located in the historic center of Monopoli, the B&B Borgo San Martino, offers accommodations with all comforts (hairdryer, air conditioning / heating, television, WI-FI).

Borgo San Martino is the ideal starting point for a holiday full of fun, sport and the discovery of ancient treasures and the most authentic flavours of Puglia.

The historic house is surrounded by the enchanting charm of the village of Monopoli and is located a few steps from the cathedral, the castle of Charles V and beautiful rock churches.

Walking through the alleys of the old town you can enjoy an enchanting show of art and history. Nearby there are al lot of restaurants where you can tastethe typical dishes, bars, delicatessens, cigarettes and pubs.

We spent a week in the enchanting Monopoli, but what made our stay special was the magic of this wonderful B&B by Alessandra and Rossana, located in the center, very clean, quiet despite being in the center, but the difference is made by the welcoming and warmth of Alessandra, who explains everything to you in detail. I highly recommend it! And we hope to be able to return soon, ciao and thank you girls ❤️❤️

Alessandra was a wonderful hostess of this charming property, providing excellent information and assistance. The B&B is perfectly located in the old town, but not far from the station - maybe 10 minutes walking. Lots of stairs but we managed okay. We loved being at the top of the building. Very spacious, plenty of seating, table and chairs, food preparation area.

The B&B Borgo San Martino is a very welcoming structure located in a perfect position in Monopoli, in the center of the center but in a quiet and peaceful alley. Breakfast served in an outdoor café bar. The waiter was unpleasant and didn't want to give us the croissant, he said there were no more croissants even though he was serving them to other customers who didn't have a good breakfast. \nIt's not our host's fault who was very kind, charming, and available. She is probably not aware of the bar's practices.

We are very happy that we chose this accommodation! The apartment in a central location, close to everything in the middle of the old town, is really cozy. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, it is also very close. Train station was 12 minutes on foot with suitcases. The host is very kind, flexible and communicative. All our questions were answered quickly. My partner and I are very satisfied. We recommend it to everyone!

It is nice staying in the old town. Perhaps inform the guests to bring only the necessary luggage. The ventilation in the kitchen/bathroom was poor. When the bathroom was turned on, you could smell it in the kitchenette. However, we had a good time here. Thanks.

Perfect location for a stay in Monopoli, just a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops, and about a 20-minute walk to the beach. The property is very beautiful, well-kept, clean, and equipped with everything you need (perhaps inconvenient for those with mobility problems due to the slightly steep and narrow staircase). Mrs. Alessandra was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and is managed by a bar 2 minutes away on foot. After my experience, I highly recommend Borgo San Martino to everyone.

Alessandra was a super loving guest, the rooms are cozy, the stone in which the structure is carved makes you feel in a typical and traditional place, the location is simply perfect (in the heart of the city but in a quiet and secluded street). The only flaw is the size of the shower, really tiny, and the duration of hot water due to the boiler. I would still return to Borgo San Martino on a future visit to Monopoli (a perfect base for a long weekend in Puglia! Loved).

Welcoming structure, manager (Alessandra) always available both in person and by phone for any request or information regarding the structure and the surroundings. Excellent daily cleaning. Optimal location both for visiting the historic center and for reaching nearby villages. No available parking but easily found just outside the ZTL area. Sweet or savory breakfast at a nearby affiliated bar.

I have just returned after a 2-week stay with Alessandra at B&B San Martino in a lovely double room. What a great authentic self-catering room. Alessandra and her sister make you feel right at home. The room is cleaned every morning, the bed made and, if necessary, fresh towels. You get a coupon every day for a nice breakfast at Pasticceria Napoli, located nearby. Every day there's time for a nice chat with the hosts. The B&B was within walking distance of the cozy old center and the station. I have experienced this place positively in every aspect. I would return tomorrow if I could.

We had an excellent stay. The host is very friendly and speaks French. She always has a smile and a kind word when we meet her. Thank you very much to her. The room was spacious, very clean, and well air-conditioned. The kitchen is simple but sufficient. The location is perfect to enjoy the city! Thank you for this (too short) stay! The only slight downside would be the breakfast, to be taken in a nearby café, which is not very abundant.

I was walking along the Via Francigena and was happy to stay in this B&B. The single room is small but sufficient for a solo pilgrim. The room has everything I need, warm, clean, and comfortable. Great location, close to everything but still quiet enough. Friendly and helpful host, very organized and professional. I highly recommend this place.

I can only give the highest recommendations about this place! The room was absolutely gorgeous and had everything you might need! I had booked a single room but on arrival I got a double room which had a kitchenette, private bathroom, TV and more. Also a ticket for a simple italian breakfast at a cafe nearby. The staff is very nice and speaks good english! The location is perfect.

Upon arrival at the B&B Borgo San Martino, we were greeted by the cheerful smile of Alessandra, who immediately knew how to make us feel comfortable and pampered. The Bed and Breakfast is located in a carefully restored 18th-century building, a gem for lovers of enhanced historical structures who want to feel somehow part of the town's historic center. The location is enviable, just 80 meters from Piazza XX Settembre where, with a bit of luck, you can park on white lines and leave your car parked for the entire holiday. The rooms are equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, shower, free wifi, and even a kitchen to prepare breakfast (included in the price) and lunch/dinner. The free beach is a five-minute walk away, as are almost all the most important monuments in Monopoli. Borgo San Martino was a fantastic experience for us, and in the future, wherever we go, we won't be able to help but seek and recreate the same feelings. Thank you!

A typical local structure, in live stone, dating back to the '700s, meticulously cared for. I stayed for almost a week in a single, small but comfortable room. Alessandra and her sister are kind and helpful people. I am certainly satisfied. Barbara.

The apartment was well managed, clean, and in a great location: close to the center but away from the noise. The staff that welcomed us was very kind and helpful. Excellent value for money. The only flaw of the property (if you can say so) is the slightly narrow stairs, but once you leave the luggage in the room and being inside a historic building, it's a negligible detail.
