The elegant Bed & Breakfast Mari Lù is located in a modern private housing estate recently reorganized in Maruggio, a small village of the north east of Salento peninsula.

The B&B is few kilometers far from the historic center of the village, a place rich in history where everything recalls an ancient and legendary past linked to the Knights of Malta. It is just 1, 5km far from Campomarino, a seaside resort with a marina, European Union protected area with its sandy dunes, blue and clear sea, a unique place you'll hardly forget!
The B&B has 3 elegant and comfortable bedrooms, a wide and well equipped common lounge, garden, private parking for the guests, a place designed for relax and characterised by hospitality and courtesy.

The elegant Bed & Breakfast Mari Lù is located in Maruggio, a small village with 5. 528 inhabitants, in the province of Taranto, Puglia region, south east Italy. The village is situated in a natural depression at 26 m. A. M. S. L. , 2 Km far from the Gulf of Taranto. Campomarino, its seaside resort and marina, is notoriously a pearl of the Ionian sea, popular for its calm, blue and cristal clear sea. It is located at the foot of Murge Tarantine hills, in north west Salento and it is 40 km far from Taranto, 54 km from Brindisi and 60 Km from Lecce. The inhabitants are called "Maruggesi".

It was founded in a strategic hidden position inside a natural depression, in the second half of 10th century as a result of the unification of the farmhouses Castigno, Olivaro, San Nicolò, Civitecchia and Albano which hadn't been destroyed by Saracen raids. Apparently the name Maruggio derives from "marubium", a medicinal plant that would grow in that valley, or perhaps from the combination of the words "mare" (sea) and "uggioso" (dull) since the sea lapping the village conveys great dampness to the area through a humid wind known as "scirocco" blowing from south west. Maruggio was fief of the Knights of Malta from 1315-1320 to 1819.

- Marina of Campomarino.

Super welcoming and hospitality from Mrs. Maria who makes you feel at home. The area is located in the center of Maruggio and is just a few kilometers from the main beaches of Campomarino. The breakfast is super abundant and Mrs. Maria also brings you focaccia and fruit to the beach. Also worth mentioning the kindness and friendliness of Cristina. No negative reviews, highly recommended!

The structure is simple but extremely comfortable for the reserved parking in the small square in front, for the rooms well separated from the large entrance, for the location just a few steps from the beautiful historic center and on the road that leads to the sea towards Campomarino di Maruggio and its wonderful Natural Park of dunes. The "Commenda" room has three beds and is large and well soundproofed from the noises of city traffic. There are no lack of television, small fridge, and heat pump air conditioner. The furnishings are simple and modern. The bathroom is complete and efficient with a very large shower. The common area is spacious, with a complete kitchenette that guests cannot use to prepare food, but they can autonomously use the refrigerator and the capsule coffee machine. This room has a multi CD stereo system and extremely comfortable sofas. The breakfast tables, really rich and tasty, are divided by rooms. The owner and her son are very nice and welcoming; they are very good at creating a familiar and relaxing atmosphere, meeting the needs of guests, such as dietary intolerances. During the period we stayed, we were the only ones but we are sure that in the peak season they are able to create a splendid community of extended and lively family. We had a very good time in this B&B and we recommend it enthusiastically.

Located less than 5 minutes (by car) from the beautiful crystal clear sea.

We spent a week at this B&B and we can only confirm all the positive things we had read. Spacious, very clean room/bathroom, small and lovely garden with a comfortable area for hanging laundry. Luigi and Mrs. Lucia definitely make the difference with their attentions, making you feel like "friends" right away and not just customers.

Struttura recentissima, mantenuta in ottimo stato e pulita. La gestione familiare fa tutto quanto possibile per farti sentire a tuo agio. Colazione abbondante e varia. Oltretutto la signora prepara poi delle borse con focaccia e frutta da portarsi via per la giornata. A due chilometri da bellissime spiagge ed in ottima posizione per visitare molte altre località. Personalmente io e la mia famiglia non ci siamo mai trovati così bene in un posto. Da provare! Michele.

Clima, profumi, sapori, gentilezza, mare cristallino, modernità e pulizia, sono tutti aggettivi che lo definiscono. Qui ti senti a casa, i clienti diventiamo amici, e ci sentiamo coccolati da questa meravigliosa famiglia, che fa di tutto per rendere più che perfetto il nostro soggiorno, ecco perché ogni estate ritorniamo.

Gestione esemplare. Non avevo mai trovato una famiglia così genuinamente ospitale. Mamma lucia molto attenta alle nostre esigenze ha contribuito al nostro benessere durante tutto il soggiorno (20 gg). La camera ampia ed il bagno sempre puliti alla perfezione. Grazie. Ovviamente consigliato.

A poca distanza da un mare ancora spettacolare e poco conosciuto. La struttura si trova in posizione centrale. Abbiamo soggiornato con un bambino di 3 anni ed è stato come stare a casa, coccolati e consigliati sempre bene da Luigi e tutta la sua gentilissima famiglia. Stanza spaziosa e ben arredata con tutti i comfort; è ben visibile la cura messa dal gestore del B&B in ogni scelta. Da ritornarci sempre ombra di dubbio.

Posto incantevole per trascorrere giorni indimenticabili! Dolce risvegli e piacevoli chiacchierate con Alessandro e Luigi quali si mettono a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa! Maria Lucia donna attenta e buona vizia gli ospiti! Pulizia cortesia tranquillità, posizionata vicino a: supermercato, posta, braceria ristoranti. Con la macchina facile arrivare al mare! Cosa voglio di più? ?? Voglio ritornare!

Il manque simplement la piscine pour que ce B&B devienne un cinq étoile, et à vrai dire, la piscine est inutile puisque la mer est à 10 mn à vélo, gentilment mis à la disposition par les propriétaires ainsi que le parasol! Un accueil chaleureux et d'excellence, une disponibilité totale, de bons conseils, un excellent service. Le petite déjeuner est supérieur à celui des hôtels des Pouilles et en prime Mari Lu vous prépare un petit tupper pour la plage avec des foccacias et pizzes et fruits. On était chez nous, avec le sourire et l'amabilité. Incontestablement un B&B à connaître dans cette merveilleuse région et l'endroit idéal pour profiter de la plage de Campomarino. The best!

Passata una vacanza eccezionale, accoglienza fantastica struttura oltre le aspettative, la mamma Maria e i figli Alessandro e Luigi sono stati unici ed eccezionali disponibili per ogni richiesta, al mattino una colazione abbondante e una torta casalinga buonissima cornetti freschi e poi ti preparano una borsa frigo per uno spuntino in spiaggia. Grazie di tutto, partire ci è dispiaciuto ma senz'altro ci ritorneremo.

Siamo stati benissimo! Il B&B è nuovo, ben arredato, ben tenuto e pulitissimo. Camere ampie con tv e piccolo frigo. Bagno spazioso. I gestori, Luigi e la mamma, sono gentilissimi e cordiali. Colazione abbondante (torte della mamma squisite!). Corte interna attrezzata con stendibiancheria personale. Area parcheggio riservata ai clienti. Consigliatissimo.

Siamo una coppia che abita a Parma e abbiamo soggiornato l'ultima settimana di agosto per il secondo anno consecutivo, certi di trascorrere una vacanza in pieno relax, e così è stato. La struttura è nuova piena di confort di ogni tipo e molto pulita; l'accoglienza dei gestori (Alessandro, Luigi e la mamma) e la loro cordialità e attenzione su tutto, hanno reso il soggiorno piacevole. Il momento della colazione (super abbondante e varia compreso il cestino per la spiaggia) molto gradito anche come momento di incontro con altri ospiti, permetteva di cominciare la giornata in allegria. Belle le spiagge, i dintorni e succulenta la cucina locale. Ci torneremo ancora magari prolungando il soggiorno. Grazie.

"Accoglienza senza eguali in una struttura di gran gusto" Come da titolo si tratta di una struttura arredata con gran gusto, nuovissima, con una attenzione ai dettagli fuori dal comune. Le camere sono spaziosissime e dotate di tutti i comfort, così come gli spazi comuni destinati alla colazione e/o al relax. Ambienti ampi, luminosi e puliti. Corte interna attrezzata con stendibiancheria e mollette nominali, con salottino e ombrellone. Area parcheggio riservata ai clienti. Se non fosse sufficiente l'accoglienza della struttura stessa, Alessandro e la signora Maria finiscono col rendere il soggiorno letteralmente fantastico con la loro disponibilità, i consigli sul territorio, e le abbondantissime colazioni con "cestino per il mare" al seguito, con frutta fresca prodotta dal capofamiglia già pulita ed affettata e focaccia fresca. La posizione del B&B permette di riposarsi in tutta tranquillità e di raggiungere in pochi minuti una serie di spiagge fantastiche per i colori dell'acqua e la cornice naturale. Ci tornerò spesso e lo consiglierò ad amici e a chiunque abbia intenzione di soggiornare in zona.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana, grazie alla super disponibilità di Alessandro (che ci ha addirittura aiutato a trovare un auto la settimana di Ferragosto) e della sua mamma. Le stanze sono nuovissime e dotate di tutto: il frigo in camera, l'ombrellone, lo stendi biancheria nominativo, la bacinella per fare il bucato. hanno pensato a tutto per farti rilassare e godere a pieno la vacanza in Puglia! E che dire delle colazioni: fantastiche! Ogni mattina frutta fresca a chilometro zero, paste, torte e biscotti. La signora Maria Lucia accoglie i suoi ospiti come fossero di famiglia, si crea così tra i tavoli una bella atmosfera per cui, se si vuole, ci si può scambiare consigli sulle spiagge o i dintorni che vale la pena scoprire e visitare. Lo consigliamo vivamente!

Ho appena trascorso una settimana fantastica in questo bellissimo B&B. Struttura nuovissima, illibata, con camere spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. Tv, climatizzatore, frigo, bagno spazioso con doccia davvero grande, letto comodissimo. Ottimo anche l'arredamento delle stanze, curato nei minimi dettagli. Capitolo colazione, beh, che dire, fantastica, abbondante, con frutta fresca e torte preparate direttamente dalla mamma del mitico titolare Alessandro. Capitolo Location, la struttura è a circa 3 minuti dalla meravigliosa e incontaminata spiaggia di Mirante, e a circa 10 minuti dalle più affollate spiagge di Campomarino di Maruggio. La notte dormirete sonni tranquilli, visto che via Camene è si frequentata di giorno vista la presenza di un supermercato, ma la notte, rumori zero e massimo relax vista la comodità dei letti. Che dire, ho trascorso 7 giorni davvero rilassanti e stupendi, grazie alla struttura (di lusso) ma soprattutto grazie alla gentilezza e alla cordialità di Alessandro il titolare e la sua mamma, persone davvero speciali, che non vi faranno mancare nulla, sempre disponibili ad ogni evenienza. B&B consigliato fortemente per una vacanza in quel di Campomarino.

Abbiamo trascorso una bella settimana, grazie alla ottima accoglienza. La struttura è bella, pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli. Consiglio questo posto a chi ama trovare ancora un mare pulito e un litorale intatto. Dista infatti 1,5 km dal parco delle dune di Campo Marino, che vale la pena di visitare. Da visitare anche l'entroterra, Maruggio e Oria sono due paesini da visitare.
