Description
The Dimora Grottone lies in the center of the district Gelso, one of the oldest and well known areas of Polignano a Mare. It’s literally just a few steps away from the picturesque panorama of the Domenico Modugno seafront, from the pristine ocean waters of Cala Grottone, and from the beautiful beach basin of Cala Paguro. After just a short walk, crossing over the Lama Monachile bridge, one discovers the center of the town, where the winding and narrow streets of the old city still remain, where one is enchanted by the town’s beautiful Roman Cathedral, and can enjoy a breathtaking view from the terraces overlooking the sea.

The Dimora is an antique residence of two floors with charming studio and two room apartments: all comfortable, pleasant and simply furnished, but with attention to every detail.

The apartment is in a quiet location but only a few minutes from the beautiful old town of Polignano a Mare. The beach is also close by. Gionni, the owner of the apartment, was very friendly and helpful. He showed us around on our first day in his car, and even took us and picked us up from the beach and to the train station on our last day. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Stayed 4 very pleasant nights at Dimora Grottone located in the center of Polignano. A studio apartment with a small kitchenette and fridge. Pleasantly warm (October) at night, very comfortable king size bed. Well-finished bathroom.

Great stay, the property was functional and a stone's throw from the center. Great for exploring the city on foot, but also for being a good base for touring the surrounding area. The manager was very friendly and helpful, I recommend it for those looking for a comfortable and well-kept place to make the most of a short break.

Strategic location near the center and the sea performs its function excellently from here you can reach all the most beautiful places in Polignano in a few minutes. The manager is very good and attentive to all needs, and generous with advice on attractions, the sea, and food. Recommended for those looking for a nice base.
