Bed and Breakfast Gelsimori is situated a few metres’ walk from the sea and a few hundred metres from the beautiful centre of Otranto. In fact from the B&B you could enjoy ambling around the delightful streets of the historic centre and breathing a magic atmosphere.

Bed & Breakfast Gelsimori is a family owned business, managed with simplicity, passion, traditional hospitality of Salento, and love of own land.

Nearby there are: free parking, 3 bathing establishments fully equipped (Atlantis, Fuori Rotta, La Castellana), free beaches and supermarket.

The owner was a very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable person about his land, he provided us with a tourist map indicating the most beautiful and interesting places to see throughout Salento, better than a travel agency! It's a B&B you must try to believe. Also, the property is just a stone's throw from the center and has internal parking, what more could you want!

Structure very close to the center, panoramic, clean, with a panoramic common space equipped with everything needed. Particularly friendly, welcoming, and helpful owner Mario who gave us excellent advice; thanks to his suggestions, in fact, we discovered beautiful places and went on lovely excursions. Currently, breakfast is served at a bar quite near the structure, but it would be preferable to have it at the structure. A special thanks to Mario hoping to return soon to his B&B.

We stayed at the B&B Gelsimori for 2 nights and had a great time. New, extremely clean and fragrant structure. Mr. Mario very helpful and kind in providing us with valuable information on how to move around Otranto for everything that is useful both for the palate, entertainment, and culture. The B&B Gelsimori, thanks to the management of Mr. Mario (undoubtedly cultured and kind person, with absolute willingness to meet any request), was for us, a large family (5 people), a very comfortable place, strategically positioned to easily reach the historic center and, at the same time, outside the city chaos and the typically Otranto nightlife. The rooms and services are airy and well positioned, with the necessary comforts and, last but not least, daily thorough cleaning. Breakfast is not usually served on site, but at well-managed local bars and cafés.

Excellent if you want to stay in Otranto. It has private parking, which should not be underestimated in Otranto as the first thing. It is a stone's throw from the beaches and the waterfront. In the evening, you can easily walk to the historic center, which is really very convenient. The structure is spotless. Room cleaning is done every day. The beds are very comfortable. In the evening, you can sleep in total silence. The structure is located on the third floor, from which you have a wonderful sea view. Mario, the owner, is always ready to help you with the visits you want to make, providing very useful information. The breakfast in this B&B is, in my opinion, very well organized. You can have it at the bar, or the price of it is deducted from the total. Mario provides the coffee machine for free, which you can use in quantity and at any time, thus having breakfast at any hour by buying cookies or pastry products, depending on your tastes. I recommend it.
