Description
Our B&B is in a small and quiet village 5 km far from the beach, in the neighbourhood of the Valle d'Itria Territory and bordering on the Regional Park of the Coastal Dunes, local coastal reserve, consisting of wetlands, lagoons and sand dunes with lots of wildlife.
It is located in a very picturesque area, surrounded by typical countryside with secular olive trees, where you can enjoy nature and easily reach other typical interesting villages in the nearby, such as for example:
THE VALLE D'ITRIA: One of the most touristic attractive areas of Puglia and one of the most beautiful landscapes all over the region. The Valle d’Itria is very rich in history, art and culture, with typical and ancient cone buildings, the famous “trulli”, and white masserie.
This territory includes the towns of: Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica.
OSTUNI: Ostuni's citadel is built on top of a hill and still fortified by the ancient walls. Ostuni is regarded as an architectural jewel, and is commonly referred to as "the White Town" for its white walls and its typically white-painted architecture.
CISTERNINO: The architecture is typical of the region with an old Centro Storico (Historical Centre) containing white washed, stone buildings with cool, shaded, cave-like interiors, narrow streets and churches. The town also features several community squares, each of which are build on the edge of the hill allowing for some spectacular landscapes,
ALBEROBELLO: wonderful town is one of most peculiar towns in the world, and it is an Unesco heritage site, thanks to its picturesque trulli,

The beach of Pilone which is dominated by the Torre di San Leonardo, erected in the sixteenth century to sight anyone arriving from the sea. The coast is sandy with dunes dotted with secular junipers. Thanks to its considerable environmental value, the section of coast between Torre San Leonardo and Torre Canne has been declared a regional natural park, the Parco Naturale Regionale Dune Costiere.
We give everything necessary for the overnight stay (towels, sheets, soaps), we clean the rooms and we prepare in the morning a plentiful breakfast with tipical products, that we can serve in the house or in our gerden.
We distinguish for our kindness and we are at all times at disposal of our guests for every need.

A mother of two daughters and a grandmother of two grandchildren opened a bed and breakfast in 2005 to make use of her own apartment. Over the years, she developed a natural talent for hospitality and also devoted herself to preparing homemade desserts for breakfast and jams.

We stayed in two at the B&B Verdemare. We had a great time. Mrs. Maria is very kind and makes excellent jams for breakfast. It is a dependence of the main house. Very clean, quiet, with a nice garden full of cats. Excellent location, close to Torre Canne, Rosamarina, and Cisternino. Thank you 🩷.

We stayed for a week in June. The room was small but equipped with every comfort, excellent cleanliness even in the bathroom. Managed by Mrs. Maria Carmela, who prepared us an excellent breakfast with homemade pastries, very friendly and always ready to meet any need. I certainly recommend it.

Our host was lovely and welcoming - Despite the language barrier! We were leaving early the next morning as we were walking the Via Francigena pilgrimage. Our host brought us items for breakfast including wonderful homemade biscotti. The room was very clean and well serviced. Perfect stop over near the bus stop and a short walk into the village for supplies. Thank you!

The structure is very nice, a single house for a family and it is perfect. All the privacy and tranquility were very appreciated. Then outside there is a small garden with animals and my son didn't want to leave. Great location because we wanted to go to the safari zoo and we arrived on time.

We stayed at B&B Verdemare for a weekend. The lady was very sweet and helpful, quiet area near the sea and with services just a stone's throw away, we will definitely come back. The room was very clean.
