B&B La Porta d'Oriente

In Martano, in the heart of Salento, the B&B "La Porta d'Oriente" is the perfect place for all sea lovers, and also for those looking for a welcoming and comfortable environment for their vacation. In just a few minutes, our guests will have the opportunity to go shopping, appreciate and buy products from local artisans, get lost in cultural events and exhibitions, or immerse themselves in our splendid sea. Not far from our B&B, those staying with us will find examples of our heritage and various tourist attractions.

The B&B consists of 5 carefully furnished rooms, with attention to detail and sleep comfort, offering silent rooms with comfortable mattresses and latex or goose feather pillows.

Each room is dedicated to a peculiarity of Salento, so you will find the "Azzurro Salento" room, which will remind you of the brightness of the clear Salento sky, the "Blu Otranto" room, which will allow you to savor the intense color of the beautiful waters of our sea, the "Giallo Barocco" room, which will immerse you in the wonders of Baroque art and the local limestone, the "Verde Vallonea" room, dedicated to the majestic Vallonea oak, and last but not least, the "Arancio Grecìa" room, which will make you taste the warmth of our people and our traditions.

The rooms are equipped with private facilities, AC, LED TV, minibar, hairdryer, and mosquito nets.

Furthermore, you will have access to a garden behind the structure, equipped with a hammock, sun loungers, a gazebo with armchairs, umbrellas, and tables, where you can relax in peace. You will have the possibility to enter autonomously and discreetly.

For lunch and dinner, you can taste typical local dishes at lower prices thanks to the discount that very welcoming restaurants reserve for our guests.

The B&B is easily accessible and strategically located to visit not only Lecce (just 20 minutes away) and the main Adriatic seaside resorts (Torre dell'Orso, Sant'Andrea, San Foca, Alimini, Otranto) just 10 minutes away, but also the Ionian coast (just 30 minutes away).

The stay includes breakfast (if chosen), daily room cleaning, Wi-Fi connection, bed linen change once a week (and in any case for each guest change), and bathroom linen change every 3 days, unless otherwise needed.

Also included is a special card that allows you to obtain special discounts at some commercial activities in the area (restaurants, pizzerias, beautician, hairdresser).

We offer paid services such as babysitting, excursion organization, umbrella booking at Alimini beach, picnic basket preparation, airport transfer.

Children up to 3 years old are welcomed free of charge if they stay in bed with their parents, while children from 3 to 11 years old pay a minimum of €15.00 (low season) and a maximum of €30.00 per night (high season).
