The B&B L'asino d'oro was born in 2014 from the desire to share with others the pleasure of living in a village that still retains its old world charm, where life flows with slow and sustainable rhythms.
Our B&B has two rooms on the first and second floor of a typical nineteenth century building overlooking a square in the historic center of Martina Franca.
The room 'Lovè is on the first floor of the building. It is a double bedroom with bathroom and small kitchenette. Decorated in a simple way and with an eye to tradition and one to modernity, has a romantic balcony overlooking the square in front.
The room 'Psychè is located on the second floor of the building. It is a double bedroom with bathroom and kitchenette. Characterized by a basic furnishings, but equipped with all the amenities. Being a 19th century building, to reach it you need to go up two flights of somewhat steep stairs.
The effort to climb all the way up is rewarded by the opportunity to enjoy exclusive use of a terrace, from which you can admire the facade of the nearby basilica of San Martino and where you can enjoy moments of relax or enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars..

I had a peaceful stay in the studio on the second floor, equipped with all the essential comforts. Convenient location in the beautiful historic center of Martina Franca, in a quiet alley. A stone's throw from a small supermarket, bakery, greengrocer. Paola was very kind and extremely helpful. However, the two very steep flights of stairs with very high steps, like in all the houses in the historic center, should not be underestimated.

Wonderful place, excellent welcome, right in the center. The upper room has a beautiful terrace. The in-room kitchen allows you to prepare meals. Definitely a place to stop for long periods and enjoy Puglia. Absolutely excellent value for money. Suggestions: larger fridge, consider a shower mat.

Wonderful B&B, the two apartments are very superior, quality fittings, comfortable beds/linen, view from the roof terrace of the top apartment is spectacular, only two minutes from the main piazza. The owner was so kind.
