Description
Located on the main road that leads from Acquarica del Capo to Torre Mozza, which is 6 kilometers faraway, La Liccina is at 10 km from Torre San Giovanni, and 20 km from Santa Maria di Leuca.

This gives it quite a central position, compared to the most well-known Salento cities, so you could focus on discovering Salento's culture and history, looking for a brand new maldivian beach or tipical rocky coastlines, and then back again, relaxing into our quite, peaceful garden, that will welcome you everytime you're in for a good reading in the maximum silence, on very comfortable chairs and lounges under the trees' shadow, or again laying in the sun without going anywhere else, enjoying the way the soft, natural breeze relieves you from the tipical heat of the area.

Liccina is in fact a peaceful oasis merged into the green, sorrounded by majestic pines, centuries-old olive trees, and all kinds of ornamental fruit plants, where you could taste our typical breakfast fresh food, guaranteed from the most authentic tradition (on demand, gluten-free products and english breakfast).

The new-built manor has spacious bedrooms with independent bathrooms, air conditioned, color tv and free kitchen use for any extra needs.

Weekly or on demand sheet change, everyday towels' change and bedroom cleaning.

I am Sabina and I manage Liccina, even though it has always been a family-run business. We strive to offer the best to our guests: homemade desserts, fresh seasonal fruit, and everything that the countryside has to offer. Our goal is to provide relaxation, meticulously maintained rooms, maximum cleanliness, and fair prices.

I chose this structure 6 km from the sea because I wanted to recharge my batteries. Perfect choice. If I had to rate the managers from 1 to 10, I would give them 20, fantastic hosts who do not let you miss anything. Excellent and abundant breakfasts with homemade jams, delicious pies, fresh fruit picked in the morning on the property, and much more. I hope to return next year.

Family-run management, really very hospitable, helpful and friendly. Truly abundant breakfast with homemade cakes, self-produced jams, fresh fruit from the garden at km 0 and excellent coffee. Room with clean and fragrant air conditioning and bathroom, shared kitchen and a large outdoor patio for eating and relaxing. Possibility to use an outdoor shower and a clothesline. Great awakening in a typical mood of the Salento farmhouses. Highly recommended.

If you want to relax and enjoy the Salento region in complete tranquility, B&B La Liccina is the right place. In the countryside, but just a stone's throw from the sea, comfortable rooms and a kind and helpful host. It's also worth staying here for the great breakfasts that I will miss.

A truly beautiful property, immersed in greenery, among vineyards, figs, and pears. A paradise for those who love tranquility. Just 7 km from Torre Mozza. Sabina, the host, is of a unique kindness and goodness. Truly a lovely person. She welcomed us with a beautiful plate of fresh fruit, picked by her. The cherry on top is the breakfast, all homemade products, cakes, sweets, pies. There's everything! I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a top stay.

Excellent B&B immersed in nature. The sea is just over 4 kilometers away. Divine welcome from the owner. Zero kilometer breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit, jams and homemade sweets by the owner, what delights. We really appreciated the friendliness, availability, and hospitality offered by the owner and her parents. I recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back and spend another weekend. We discovered this property by chance and it was a real surprise. A country house managed by Sabina and her parents, three special people who made us feel at home and pampered us with spectacular breakfasts made up of fantastic homemade cakes and fruit picked from their garden. We will definitely come back every time we go to Salento.

We stayed at this beautiful B&B, the place is enchanting, very well-kept with a beautiful garden. What makes it special is the care and passion that the owners put into managing the B&B, making the guest feel at home. Excellent breakfast with good products, very varied, with excellent cakes and fresh fruit picked in the morning. The passion that Sabina and her parents put into taking care of customer hospitality should be an example to many starred hotels.

Io e mia moglie cercavamo un B&B tranquillo ed in mezzo alla natura e non potevamo trovare di meglio. La struttura, gestita dalle sorelle Sabina e Valeria, si trova nella campagna Salentina ed è circondato da ulivi e da tante altre piante che papà Luigi cura con tanta passione (tutto quello che c'è lo ha realizzato lui nell'arco di 25 anni, edificio compreso!). Appena arrivati ci siamo sentiti già in famiglia, con un clima ed una cordialità non sempre facili da trovare. L'arredamento è molto piacevole, le camere non molto grandi ma complete di tutto, il letto comodissimo. Il livello pulizia è elevato e curato dalla mamma che al mattino ramazza le foglie e che quel po' di terra che è sempre presente quando gli ospiti vanno avanti e indietro. Eccellenza nella colazione, con torte preparate da Valeria (specialista) e Sabina (questo agosto principalmente lei). Abbiamo passato una bella settimana e ci è dispiaciuto dover partire. Posto scelto grazie al benvenuto agli amici quattro zampe, il nostro cane ci ha regalato un fantastico posto. L'atmosfera è quella di sentirsi subito in ambiente familiare, è gestita da due sorelle ultra gentili e simpatiche e disponibilissime. Ci sono venute incontro dal primo momento in cui siamo arrivati: avevamo esigenze particolari per la colazione (ottima e genuina), abbiamo chiesto la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli nella struttura per una mezza giornata nel giorno della partenza, per non portarli a mare con noi, e in più ci hanno anche prestato un ombrellone per il primo giorno. La sua posizione è strategica sia per raggiungerla sia per spostarsi perché è vicinissima alla strada provinciale, quindi non c'è stato motivo di perderci. Insomma per chi vuole fare una magica vacanza all'insegna del bel mare e della natura e realmente un bel posto da soggiornare. Noi ci ritorneremo volentieri. Grazie mille.

La struttura si presenta da subito molto accogliente, curata e pulita. Per i miei bambini è stato possibile muoversi nel giardino con facilità e in tutta sicurezza. Le stanze sono confortevoli e dotate di zanzariere e condizionatore. La colazione è ottima: tutto fatto in casa, persino lo yogurt, tutto buonissimo. Le titolari sono molto cortesi e ospitali e soprattutto sanno fornire info e consigli su come muoversi in zona. Abbiamo passato un fine settimana bellissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato ad agosto 2012 insieme ai nostri bimbi. Il posto è davvero rilassante e la gentilezza dei proprietari è favolosa. Sembra di stare a casa. Grande cordialità e simpatia, attenzione alle esigenze degli ospiti, posto genuino e non finto come spesso purtroppo capita. Condivisione della propria visione della vita con scambi di opinioni. Onestà intesa sia in senso legale che intellettuale. Due sorelle complementari. una estroversa e sensibile, l'altra sensibile ed estroversa. Io e mio marito ci siamo sentiti come in famiglia e perciò raccomandiamo La Liccina soprattutto a chi preferisce la semplicità, la bellezza della campagna, la calma del giardino all'ostentazione del lusso fine a se stesso, alle piscine affollate ecc. I dintorni sono incantevoli e le spiagge stupende. Che altro dire? Torneremo!

B&B da consigliare a chi non cerca lusso ostentato e chiasso. Le camere, tutte pulitissime e rifinite con cura, sono silenziose e confortevoli. tre delle camere hanno la cucina in comune, che resta comunque a disposizione di tutti, e sono la sistemazione ideale per un gruppo di amici; un'altra camera è un po' più "isolata" al di fuori della struttura principale. Il B&B è circondato da un uliveto e da un orto curati con dedizione, di cui abbiamo assaggiato i prodotti appena colti. gli animali sono accolti con lo stesso calore riservato alle persone. la colazione è sempre stata una festa: biscotti e torte fatti in casa, frutta appena colta, e tutto quello che si può desiderare. i gestori sono pronti ad accogliere ogni richiesta. Dal primo giorno ci siamo sentiti a casa, supercoccolati e viziati. un posto dove sarà bello tornare in futuro, sperando che non cambi!
