Description

Located on the main road that leads from Acquarica del Capo to Torre Mozza, which is 6 kilometers faraway, La Liccina is at 10 km from Torre San Giovanni, and 20 km from Santa Maria di Leuca.

This gives it quite a central position, compared to the most well-known Salento cities, so you could focus on discovering Salento's culture and history, looking for a brand new maldivian beach or tipical rocky coastlines, and then back again, relaxing into our quite, peaceful garden, that will welcome you everytime you're in for a good reading in the maximum silence, on very comfortable chairs and lounges under the trees' shadow, or again laying in the sun without going anywhere else, enjoying the way the soft, natural breeze relieves you from the tipical heat of the area.

Liccina is in fact a peaceful oasis merged into the green, sorrounded by majestic pines, centuries-old olive trees, and all kinds of ornamental fruit plants, where you could taste our typical breakfast fresh food, guaranteed from the most authentic tradition (on demand, gluten-free products and english breakfast).

The new-built manor has spacious bedrooms with independent bathrooms, air conditioned, color tv and free kitchen use for any extra needs.

Weekly or on demand sheet change, everyday towels' change and bedroom cleaning.

We strive to offer the best to our guests: homemade desserts, fresh seasonal fruit, and everything that the countryside has to offer. We stayed at the property with my wife. We were welcomed and pampered like family. The property is a few kilometers from a crystal-clear sea, just outside the crowded summer circuits. The courtesy and kindness of Mrs. Sabina, as well as her parents, are found in very few other cases. The property excels in cleanliness and customer care. A highlight of the stay is the memorable breakfasts featuring homemade jams and cakes made personally by the owner, as well as organic fresh fruit grown in the grounds surrounding the property by the loving hands of Mr. Luigi. Very beautiful. Among the olive trees there is great tranquility. Breakfast was very good, varied and abundant, with homemade cakes and jams, fresh fruit and excellent cleanliness. Sabina is truly a great hostess together with her parents, delightful people. What can I say, we will definitely return.

We have just returned from a week of vacation and can only be very satisfied with the welcome and treatment we received. A simple but extremely well-kept and clean environment, we felt right at home. Immersed in the green countryside but very close to both the sea and the town center. For all of this, we warmly thank Sabina and also her parents who, with their skill and kindness, made us have a great time.

We stayed at the property, my partner and I, together with a couple of friends for a holiday among the colors and scents of the Salento countryside. Located in a strategic position to reach the beaches of Ugento and to visit the characteristic towns of the inland, the B&B La Liccina offers clean and welcoming rooms, as well as a large outdoor green space. The kindness and hospitality of the managers make you feel like family, delighting you every morning with a rich breakfast made of fruit from their garden and exquisite homemade cakes. Finally, one cannot forget Mr. Luigi, the owner’s father, who enriched our stay every day with tidbits of rural culture. An experience to repeat.

I chose this structure 6 km from the sea because I wanted to recharge my batteries. Perfect choice. If I had to rate the managers from 1 to 10, I would give them 20, fantastic hosts who do not let you miss anything. Excellent and abundant breakfasts with homemade jams, delicious pies, fresh fruit picked in the morning on the property, and much more. I hope to return next year.

Family-run management, really very hospitable, helpful and friendly. Truly abundant breakfast with homemade cakes, self-produced jams, fresh fruit from the garden at km 0 and excellent coffee. Room with clean and fragrant air conditioning and bathroom, shared kitchen and a large outdoor patio for eating and relaxing. Possibility to use an outdoor shower and a clothesline. Great awakening in a typical mood of the Salento farmhouses. Highly recommended.

If you want to relax and enjoy the Salento region in complete tranquility, B&B La Liccina is the right place. In the countryside, but just a stone's throw from the sea, comfortable rooms and a kind and helpful host. It's also worth staying here for the great breakfasts that I will miss.

A truly beautiful property, immersed in greenery, among vineyards, figs, and pears. A paradise for those who love tranquility. Just 7 km from Torre Mozza. Sabina, the host, is of a unique kindness and goodness. Truly a lovely person. She welcomed us with a beautiful plate of fresh fruit, picked by her. The cherry on top is the breakfast, all homemade products, cakes, sweets, pies. There's everything! I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a top stay.

Excellent B&B immersed in nature. The sea is just over 4 kilometers away. Divine welcome from the owner. Zero kilometer breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit, jams and homemade sweets by the owner, what delights. We really appreciated the friendliness, availability, and hospitality offered by the owner and her parents. I recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back and spend another weekend. We discovered this property by chance and it was a real surprise. A country house managed by Sabina and her parents, three special people who made us feel at home and pampered us with spectacular breakfasts made up of fantastic homemade cakes and fruit picked from their garden. We will definitely come back every time we go to Salento.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet B&B in the middle of nature, and we couldn't have found anything better. The property, managed by the sisters Sabina and Valeria, is located in the Salento countryside and is surrounded by olive trees and many other plants that dad Luigi takes care of with great passion (he has built everything himself over 25 years, including the building!). As soon as we arrived, we already felt like part of the family, with a warmth and friendliness not always easy to find. The decor is very pleasant, the rooms not very large but complete with everything, the bed very comfortable. The level of cleanliness is high and taken care of by mom who in the morning rakes the leaves and cleans up the little bit of dirt that is always present when guests come and go. Excellence in breakfast, with cakes prepared by Valeria (the specialist) and Sabina (mainly her this August). We had a lovely week and were sorry to have to leave. Thank you Sabina, thank you Luigi, a warm hug. Ambrogio & Rossana.

Place chosen thanks to the welcome for four-legged friends. Our dog gave us a fantastic place. The atmosphere is one of feeling immediately in a family environment. It is managed by two ultra-kind, friendly, and very helpful sisters. They met us from the first moment we arrived. We had special needs for breakfast, which was excellent and genuine. We asked for the possibility to leave our luggage at the facility for half a day on the day of departure, so we wouldn't have to take it to the beach with us, and they even lent us an umbrella for the first day. Its location is strategic both to reach it and to move around, as it is very close to the provincial road, so there was no reason for us to get lost. In short, for those who want to have a magical vacation in the name of beautiful sea and nature, it is truly a beautiful place to stay. We will gladly return.

The property is immediately welcoming, well-kept, and clean. My children were able to move around the garden easily and safely. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with mosquito nets and air conditioning. The breakfast is excellent: everything is homemade, even the yogurt, all very delicious. The owners are very courteous and hospitable and especially know how to provide information and advice on how to move around the area. We had a wonderful weekend.

Great cordiality and friendliness, attention to the needs of the guests, a genuine place and not fake as often unfortunately happens. Sharing one's vision of life with exchanges of opinions. Honesty understood both in a legal and intellectual sense. Two complementary sisters, one extroverted and sensitive, the other sensitive and extroverted. My husband and I felt like family and therefore we recommend La Liccina especially to those who prefer simplicity, the beauty of the countryside, the tranquility of the garden to the ostentation of luxury for its own sake, to crowded swimming pools, etc. The surroundings are enchanting and the beaches are wonderful. What else can I say? We will return!

B&B to recommend for those who do not seek ostentatious luxury and noise. The rooms, all very clean and finished with care, are quiet and comfortable. Three of the rooms have a shared kitchen, which is still available to everyone, and are the ideal accommodation for a group of friends. Another room is a little more "isolated" outside the main structure. The B&B is surrounded by an olive grove and a vegetable garden cared for with dedication, from which we tasted the freshly picked products. Animals are welcomed with the same warmth reserved for people. Breakfast has always been a celebration: homemade cookies and cakes, freshly picked fruit, and everything one could desire. The managers are ready to accommodate any request. From the first day, we felt at home, pampered and spoiled. A place we would love to return to in the future, hoping it does not change.
